Rooms are basic but clean. We had a bathroom in our room, but they also have option of separate bathroom outside your room. This is a budget hotel in Athens so you need to be aware and base expectations on that category. There is no room view or ambiance this is just a place to sleep. We stayed for two... More

The location is great. Within walking distance to the Acropolis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cute little bar on the top level. However, you get what you pay for. The room was very small. The bathroom was across the hall from the room which I did not like. We only needed a room for one night so I... More

We loved this little hotel. The location couldn't be better: 4 blocks up the street to the Acropolis, 1/2 block down the street to a pedestrian mall full of bakeries and restaurants. The Art Gallery is a Greek hotel, that is, very simple and few frills. We did have, nonetheless, a/c, wifi, TV, and a lovely little balcony, as well... More

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay then this place is for you. You get what you pay for: small room, uncomfortable beds, small tv so high up on the wall it cannot be seen, really beat up furnishings and marked walls with chipped paint. Small bathroom with tiny shower and somewhat unclean appearance. Located close to... More

Hotel looks like from sweet 60s. Old-fashioned furnitures and rooms. Feels like you came to your lovely grandma, very relaxing. Lobby on 4th floor with armchairs are good to play cards or drink wine. Funny lazy cat sleeps all day - at lobby at daytime and on reception at night:) Wifi is good.

Every member of staff was an absolute gem! Very nice people and helpful too. Unfortunately the bathroom was horrendous. It leaked and made the floor wet. Mould, dirt and grime around the sides of the cubicle. Bar shuts too early - midnight. But has a dacent-ish view of the Acropolis so its nice to have a drink on its balcony.... More

Spent 9 nights in a single room with a double bed, third floor and paid 324 euros, no breakfast included. Location of the hotel was excellent in a quiet neighbourhood just under the Acropolis rock, away from the dirt and the noise of the city. 2 steps away from the hotel everything one needs: mini markets, pharmacies, dry cleaners, cafeterias,... I lived 7 days/nights in a hotel modest like furnishings and not a magnificent entrance but in exchange is very clean and with the people from reception till the breakfast and bar of high quality of services, very amiable and after 2-3 days you have impression that you are deja old friend. The hotel is situated very close of Acropolis, maybe... Walking distance from Acropolis and several lovely restaurants was very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hotel location and our room was spacious. I enjoyed the breakfast on the upper floor which consisted of continental food, Greek yogurt with honey and accoutrements, cheeses and meats and hard boiled eggs. However, keep in mind that the bathroom is... More

The hotel is located in a perfect location but the room was small and a bit stuffy. The staff was nice and helpful when asked for assistance. The beds were also very, very hard, but the AC worked fine.
