Titirangi is a unique village in Aucklands West. The Art Gallery is a reflection of the interest in the Arts of many of those who live in or near Titirangi. The Gallery is a beautiful new building with stairways and corners that take full advantage of the view of the wonderful native trees below. We were there in December when... More

Every member of staff was an absolute gem! Very nice people and helpful too. Unfortunately the bathroom was horrendous. It leaked and made the floor wet. Mould, dirt and grime around the sides of the cubicle. Bar shuts too early - midnight. But has a dacent-ish view of the Acropolis so its nice to have a drink on its balcony.... More

Spent 9 nights in a single room with a double bed, third floor and paid 324 euros, no breakfast included. Location of the hotel was excellent in a quiet neighbourhood just under the Acropolis rock, away from the dirt and the noise of the city. 2 steps away from the hotel everything one needs: mini markets, pharmacies, dry cleaners, cafeterias,... I lived 7 days/nights in a hotel modest like furnishings and not a magnificent entrance but in exchange is very clean and with the people from reception till the breakfast and bar of high quality of services, very amiable and after 2-3 days you have impression that you are deja old friend. The hotel is situated very close of Acropolis, maybe... Walking distance from Acropolis and several lovely restaurants was very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hotel location and our room was spacious. I enjoyed the breakfast on the upper floor which consisted of continental food, Greek yogurt with honey and accoutrements, cheeses and meats and hard boiled eggs. However, keep in mind that the bathroom is... More

The hotel is located in a perfect location but the room was small and a bit stuffy. The staff was nice and helpful when asked for assistance. The beds were also very, very hard, but the AC worked fine.

Positives close to the Acropolis within walking difference of the Plaka but far enough away to be quiet Generally clean good breakfast Areas for improvement The rooms are a little tired looking There is nothing particularly wrong with the hotel -it was safe and clean and the price was pretty good. However, if you are looking for a really slick... More

My stay at Art Gallery turned out to be a very pleasant experience. First, location is very convenient, pretty close to everything and the subway station! The staff was very warm-hearted and helpful. They really take care of you, which is a big plus, especially if you try to communicate a little bit in Greek. The room was clean and... More

We generally swear by Rick Steves' books and have loved many of his $$ picks, but this place did not in the least match his review. He called it cozy and comfy and like a boutique hotel. In reality it was dirty, dingy, shabby and musty smelling. A/C took hours to cool the room. On the bright side, reception desk... More

The hotel has excellent location: Acropolis is literally around the corner (you can view it from hotels roof top bar), there are excellent restaurants near by and we walked to the parliament park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are on the small side but adequate for the purpose. As many other small hotels, not much for small... More
