My wife and I stayed at the Marble House for two nights. We stayed in 3 different hotels in Athens, so we were able to make some unique comparisons. The hotel is very nice and all of the Marble in the staircases and in the rooms is impressive. Our room had a private restroom, and the window faced the back... more
I should have check the warnings from other visiters to this terrible hotel. I can't understand why Time Out or Footprint would want to recommend this dump. This should not even be classify as hotel, I have stayed in better youth hostel or B&B. The location is in the middle of Red Light District. The walk to the Parthnon took... more
This is a very cheap hotel where you get what you pay for. The room is expectedly small. One of the beds in our room made so much noise when you rolled over, we both woke up at least 6 times each night because of the creaking. The walls of the room are not soundproof. The basin in our separate... more
We booked three nights at Marble House and paid Euro 40 per night for a double room with shared bathroom. The... more
This hotel is located within a ten minute walk of the Acropolis. Very friendly staff. I only paid 35 euros for a nicely furnished room, with its own bathroom and large balcony. more

What can we say - it's a totally friendly family hotel in a very peaceful area in Athens. The owners are the nicest ever. We felt like home staying there 3 nights. They have made lot's of renovations - nice hand made iron beds - very cute and stylish. If we go to Athens, we'll stay there again!!! Veselin and... more
My friend and I stayed here from May 22nd-May 26th. The room was clean but the beds are extremely hard. The bathroom toilet and sink leaked but other wise than that it was okay. The balcony is fairly small and it faced an alley so we didn't have much of a view. We got the room with no a/c but... more
