Clean & tidy room, 5 foot bed very comfortable, nice smart hotel. Superb position, close to the city centre and main attractions. Nice roof top bar with superb views of the Acropolis. Friendly helpful staff. We had a 4th floor room with a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. Safe included at no extra cost. Only downside was the... More

Not knowing any better, I requested high floor, but the noise from bar above was unbearable. The owner, when pressed addressed our issue and once settled on 5th floor with balcony our stay was pleasant. The room 505 had everything, powerful shower. Location couldn't have been better. We shopped up and down Ermou, Walked up the Acropolis, and down the... More

We visited this hotel on our anniversary with the intent of only sleeping here and spending our days and nights in the city of Athens. But the truth is, this was one of the gems of our entire vacation! Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, especially the night time bartender who we made sure to visit every night we... The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Athens. The view from the rooftop bar is phenomenal, perhaps the best view in the city of the Acropolis. The staff at the hotel were all friendly - after accidentally misplacing an expensive camera at the bar and not realizing it, an honest server brought it to the front desk where... More

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Athens - Firstly, the location is incredible, being a few steps from Plaka at Monastiraki, and therefore also only a short walking distance from the Acropolis. If you decide to take the Metro from Venizelos Airport, you will find it exceedingly convenient, as you can get of at Monastiraki and easily... More

Stayed in this fantastic location for just one night but would go back. Fantastic location to explore Athens and the service and roof top bar were super. Well worth a visit and would definitely return here to stay for a couple of days exploring. This hotel is a short walk from Acropolis hill and syntagma square and the placka. Stay... More

My wife and I stayed here while in Athens for our last night in Greece. Room and Hotel was clean. Beds were okay. The A/C drain was clogged and started dripping into the room during the night. The breakfast was so-so. Pastries were a little stale. If you are looking for some place to stay in Athens for a night... More

While visiting Athens my friends and I decided to stay here due to its location. Albeit a nice place to stay, the people here have poor customer service skills. I was charged 25 euro for "ruining" a bed spread by ironing on it and told they could no longer use. I do admit to having slightly burned the bed spread... More

We stayed for two nights and it was perfect for what we needed. Small room, yet clean, and with a balcony view of the Acropolis. The rooftop view is amazing, especially when lit up at night. We took a cab from the airport - flat 35Euro fee and the cabbie knew exactly where the hotel was. We took the Metro... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
