We spent one night in this very basic hotel. A double and triple room accommodated my husband and I and our 3 teenagers. The rooms were clean and tidy with the very basic of furniture. Bed was comfortable and sheets were very, very soft. Downside is everything smelled like cigarette smoke. Single elevator takes you up with your baggage. Hotel... more

We stayed in a family room with two adjoining rooms. Value was good for the location. Close to Monasteraki, the Ancient Agora, Plaka, and from the dining room balcony you can see the Acropolis. Softess pillows, bed, and showers that we found during our time in Greece (you will know what I mean when you get there). The staff was... more

My husband and I spent the last two nights of our Greek vacation here. While the location is good for seeing all the sights in Athens and the value good, we weren't impressed with the staff. The breakfast staff seemed very unhappy to be there and the front desk attendants weren't very helpful. Also, we asked for wake-up calls, which... more

Was there over Easter weekends. The room is small but comfortable and clean. The staff are all very friendly. Speaks excellent English and one of them even speaks French too ! The location is stupendously excellent. Walking distance to a Metro Station. Wifi Internet is free ! Will definitely stay there again !! more

I stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 09. Upon arrival, I was wicked early, the staff let me keep my luggage there while I went exploring , and he put my laptop behind the desk for me, cause i didnt want to leave it in the open. It was all there and untouched when I came back. The rooms... more

I visited Athens at the time when the riots were going on. A few days before, I emailed the property to ask them if it was safe to visit and one of the staff, Andreas, sent a very reassuring email. And when my flight got rescheduled, he also provided information on how to get to the hotel safely. So kudos... more

If you want a reasonably priced hotel in a good location, with simple rooms this is the place. Good breakfast. You could call it quaint. What we want when travelling is a clean place to sleep in, in a central location (location is key for us) and this was fine. It is 100 yards from the metro and within walking... more

Great location, great value, downtown near the many points of interest, large city market, flea market, good restaurant areas about 10 minutes walk, subway very close. Nice clean room, small bathroom, but fine. Continental breakfast was very nice; good rolls, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, jam, juice, good coffee!. The yogurt was fabulous with the honey, thick and creamy like ice... more

We booked this hotel through HostelWorld.com and were able to save about US$30.00 for a one-night stay (considering the USD was in the tank at the time). We stayed here with the intention to sleep away our terrible jet lag from Chicago. It was actually quite comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone seeking simple accomodations. The neighborhood looks... more
