The Intercontinental Athens is a first class hotel with all the amenities anyone could want. We found a great deal on this hotel on Hot Wire. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Love the piano down in the lobby that was played nightly. Did not like that you could not get a free cup of coffee unless you made it in your room. Need coffee in the lobby. more

The Athenians are not known for their service. So we were not surprised that service was a little slow and a little inefficient. The housekeeping did the best job from all departments.
