Good people & ready to attend They are able to help even in the middle of a lot of tourist regarding for their room key in special place. Location is good, not near to center and no crowded streets, Metro station in the same block. Goos breakfats buffet and affordable if it's not included (6/7 Euro) Your balcony could give... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Stanley Hotel for three nights and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The food was great at the rooftop restaurant, which had a SPECTACULAR view of the Acropolis. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast was included in the cost of our hotel room and was delicious as well, with... More

We stayed at the Stanley due to its proximity to local family. We were only there for 1 night so we specifically looked for value rather than 5 star. We we're pleasantly surprised with the room and facilities, although a little dated, it was clean and spacious and had a great air condition. Pool deck was huge with a great... More

The Stanley Hotel is a fairly average hotel and could very definitely do with a makeover. The rooms we stayed in smelt of smoke and the air conditioning was temperamental. However, the staff were very helpful and very friendly. Also, they spoke very good English which was great. But the best part about the Stanley is the view. On the... More

We stayed here for a few days before joining a ship from Piraeus. It was good value, clean and the staff were very friendly. However, the roof top terrace is in need of some care and the swimming pool could do with some up-grading. The air conditioning was welcome, but a little temperamental which sometimes resulted in being frozen during... More

The Stanley Hotel is an anti-climax place. It has everything needed to be spectacular, but it is not. The pros: Very nice view from the restaurant-terrace. Above average breakfast. Rooms are not that big but clean. The location of the hotel is almost literally right in front of a subway entrance. The number or rooms is humongous, which might be... More

Dear Guest. Thank you for choosing our hotel for your recent stay in Athens. Although we are glad to see that our restaurant, breakfast, cleanliness and size of the hotel were to your liking, we feel that the rest of your comments, to put it mildly do not do us justice. Our Wi-Fi does work, at an adequate speed for... More

Just spent a week in the Stanley and had a wonderful time, the staff are all very helpful and ever so friendly, the service in all departments. The hotel itself is a typical city hotel, a little old but has been refurbed, not all mod cons in the rooms but the has everything you need including a free safe and... More

It was almost 40 degrees when we came and the aircon in the room was perfect, the in room fridge was a godsend. The beds were firmer than I would have liked. The bath room and shower were a little dated but clean and did the job. Plenty of hot water and pressure. The restaurant was amazing value and great... More

The staff were friendly and always with a smile. The rooms were quite small and there was no effort in design at all. But I guess these are things that had to be sacrificed for budget accommodation. The location was smack in the busy center of Athens. My balcony had a view of the roofs of all the buildings around... More

The hotel is amazing along with the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. The rooms though seem like they haven't been updated since the 70's. The beds are rock hard, and the bathroom was..well interesting! Oh, and the hair dryer in the middle of the room! That's something you need to see to believe..
