Being in the Athens downtown, near by metro station, it's a very good option and an excelent place you can go everywhere from. The rooms are excelent, clean and reconstructed. The stuff very polite and provide all facilities you want.

I stayed here for two days before heading off to the islands, the majority of the staff were very good, room a little outdated and very noisy, ask for a room not on the main road!! and everytime I took a shower the bathroom flooded, (something about greece and shower doors) The pool bar is fantastic and has a great... The Hotel Stanley was no doubt a premier facility many years ago. Today the large tower is like a rose in a bed of weeds. The surrounding area has deteriorated. However, thankfully, the owners of the Stanely are seeing to it the rose is watered everyday. It appears the hotel acts as an overnight destination for tourists who want to... More

Actually visited this hotel in September 2013 but didn't get a chance to write a review until now. We booked this hotel during our visit to Athens as we had a discount for the hotel. The location of the hotel is relatively convenient as it is right above a metro station which makes travelling via train to places like the... More

A clean hotel with friendly staff. Towels were changed daily. Breakfast was included, and it was very nice, with different kind of food. Not so nice neighborhood, close to Ominia square. Metro station is few meters from hotel. Overall nice impressions of hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 days, on the occasion of a training course. Nice staff, clean rooms, fairly good food, underground at the exit of the hotel, but a not-nice-at-all view of the room: an abandoned inner court, messy back facade buildings, improved by a distance view. The surroundings, even though in the map is shown to be... More

Hotel is located in poor area of town. Very overpriced. No nearby restaurants, grocery stores, shops, sites. Nothing around but coffee and bars. All that is around are closed up building ridden with graffiti. Restaurant at top of hotel is overpriced and doesn't use fresh products, i.e. canned olives, frozen lamb kebabs, stale bread. The breakfast is very good. The ham/cheese... More

Hotel is convenient located next to the subway, breakfast is good, there is a terrace good to have some drinks, dinner food ok but not the best, rooms are clean but need to be revamped. Just a city hotel, to have breakfast, sleep and some drinks at the terrace... most of the time vacationers are out enjoying Athens anyways...

Hotel was OK for my 2 nights. Location is critical, very close to subway station and close to sightseeing. Room was clean but needs renovation asap. I think is fair choice for 1-2 night stay to see around and not stay much time to the room. Not more than that. Btw the food ( breakfast and dinner) was very tasty.

We stayed at the Stanley as part of a trip. It is convenient BUT that is all. The rooms are very outdated, and the restaurant which commands a fantastic view of the Acropolis at night is terrible. If you want the convenience and expect nothing else, this is OK. The underground system is just across the street. I would not... More
