Very nice hotel in the center of the city. Opposing you the Greek parliament and Syntagma square. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Also it has a very good bar-cafe. The price for that it offer is absolutely fair. We recommend it !!!!

This place has really nice rooms but very little sound proofing. Ended up hearing our screaming neibourgbour a throughout the night and kept us awake, breakfast was okay but pretty average. Was cheap and within what we expected given what we paid per night

We stayed at the hotel in June, for a business trip. The hospitality and welcoming of the whole team was excellent! Since we made the booking we had a very good communication with the team; they organised for us meeting and we could choose from a variety of options for breakfast and coffee breaks in very good prices; the rooms... We stayed here last year, and liked this hotel so much that we didn't even consider alternatives when booking to stay a couple of days before a cruise. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts very good. The only thing missing is a swimming pool, which, while impractical, would have been wonderful with temperatures... More

We stay at the Amalia most years for just one night on our way back from a Greek island. It is perfectly positioned to walk to most attractions and is a safe and easy walk to many tavernas and cafes. The staff are all welcoming and efficient. There is a free computer and printer in the lobby which is useful... More

This was our second stay in the Amalia and it was even better than the first. The hotel is very central and perfectly located if you have time or are there to visit Athens (and not merely transiting from the islands). It's super close to the X95 bus stop to the airport and also convenient to the metro to get... More

the location, the buffet, the friendly staff..everything was a marvelous experience for the 5 of us that stayed at this hotel for one night. They did not even charge us for accommodating my husband at the last moment in our room. you see, our tour was already set from months in advance with Gate 1, and it wasn't until one... More

Excellent, clean, modern hotel in the middle of it all. Safe area, great restaurants, walk to everything. It is across the street from the metro to the airport. Free buffet breakfast was unbelievable...they had EVERYTHING anyone could wish for. We booked the cheapest room online (115 Euros at that time) and at check-in were upgraded to a Superior Double without... More

This review is based on our recent stay at Hotel Amalia! A good hotel very strategically located right next to Plaka--the shopping district and also with lots of street cafes to have kabobs and greek food open till late night. The historical gardens are right opposite to this hotel. The hop on hop off buses stop here for city touring.... More

We recently stayed at the Amalia Hotel for 2 nights. We arrived late at night (around 2:00 am), but we were checked in quickly and courteously. Our room had one Queen Bed, with 2 pairs of slippers waiting for us. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The 2 areas where this hotel really shines are... More
