The Amalia hotel is easily reached from the airport bus terminal and is within walking distance to the various sites around Athens. It is very clean and well managed. Rooms are large in size allowing a roll-away bed for a child, and the breakfast is excellent. The staff are very friendly and eager to help.

Clean, very friendly, close to the popular places, a breakfast buffet to die for. I selected Amalia based on reviews on Trip Adviser and pleasantly surprised. The rooms are neat, clean, beds comfortable. Carpet a bit dated, but given all the other amenities so what. Wifi inconsistent speed. Excellent value.

The location could't be better. Excellent breakfast. The room was good, quite large and with a bathroom in very good condition. On the 1st floor thete was some noice from traffic outside, but I guess it's better further up. We would choose Amalia Hotel again.

We stayed at amalia hotel 3 times over a period of two weeks. I enjoyed all three stays. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were big, modern, and clean. They came with aircon and free wifi and we payed a very reasonable rate. Our room had a huge king bed that was very comfy. We... More

Very nice hotel in the center of the city. Opposing you the Greek parliament and Syntagma square. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Also it has a very good bar-cafe. The price for that it offer is absolutely fair. We recommend it !!!!

This place has really nice rooms but very little sound proofing. Ended up hearing our screaming neibourgbour a throughout the night and kept us awake, breakfast was okay but pretty average. Was cheap and within what we expected given what we paid per night

We stayed at the hotel in June, for a business trip. The hospitality and welcoming of the whole team was excellent! Since we made the booking we had a very good communication with the team; they organised for us meeting and we could choose from a variety of options for breakfast and coffee breaks in very good prices; the rooms... We stayed here last year, and liked this hotel so much that we didn't even consider alternatives when booking to stay a couple of days before a cruise. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts very good. The only thing missing is a swimming pool, which, while impractical, would have been wonderful with temperatures... More

We stay at the Amalia most years for just one night on our way back from a Greek island. It is perfectly positioned to walk to most attractions and is a safe and easy walk to many tavernas and cafes. The staff are all welcoming and efficient. There is a free computer and printer in the lobby which is useful... More

This was our second stay in the Amalia and it was even better than the first. The hotel is very central and perfectly located if you have time or are there to visit Athens (and not merely transiting from the islands). It's super close to the X95 bus stop to the airport and also convenient to the metro to get... More
