The hotel is situated in a good location: in the neighbourhood of the centre of Athens (reachable by bus) and at the seaside. So you can choose this hotel either for a business stay or for a holiday trip. Clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Everyone takes care of the wellness of the guests and when... More

We stayed here because it was close to family in Voula. We had previously stayed at the Divanis across the street sans children and this is its low cost neighbour. No glam here and the building contractor clearly forgot about privacy. The bathroom vents run right in to the neighbouring rooms which is fine if you have family next door... More

My company had booked me a single room at Amarilia Hotel for 28 days and despite the length of stay, I never once felt home sick. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and even though the breakfast started at 07:00 am, sometimes when I needed to leave early, they opened it for me... More

We booked Amarilia for 2 nights with Booking.com months in advance and got a good deal. The hotel falls short of the official 4 stars, but is an excellent place to stay for combining tourism in Athens with a swim, or for a stopover if you are ferrying with your car to/from Piraeus (10 mins. straight-ahead, westbound). On the plus... More

Great view from the sea front upper floor rooms. The sea view was great! We stayed at the 6th floor and we really enjoyed taking breakfast at the balcony. Though room service it was the richest breakfast we ever had served at room compared to other more expensive hotels we stayed at the past. The room was clean and well... More

I booked 19 rooms at this hotel for all my family and friends coming over for my wedding. I am extrenely happy with the communication beforehand, the agreed price, the quality of the rooms, the help with organising a lunch for everyone at the hotel, and the service in general. Anything we asked for was arranged for us, including sea... More

I went to Athens for a football tournament organized by our company, and I slept in a twin room for two nights. In general, I considered it a very good hotel. Although our rooms had views to the swimming pool, you can also get a room with views to the beach. The rooms were clean and new. The service was... More

I went to Athens to have a wonderful holiday. This became a nightmare! The staff is very rude, the bathrooms very small, the images they have on the website certainly doesn’t match reality, the pool is like a puddle and they started taking out the breakfast before "breakfast time" was over. This wasn’t so upsetting when it consisted of burnt... More

Dear Valued Guest, You made the reservation through Expedia four months prior to your arrival. Soon after the reservation you asked your husband, who lives in Greece, to see the hotel and especially the rooms, since he informed us that one of the guests is on a wheelchair, something that you did not mention at the special request section. We... More

We, three participants of a Philosophy Conference from Russia, stayed at the Amarilia hotel in July 2011 for 12 days. The Conference took place at the very hotel we were accomodated, so it was very convenient. The hotel is situated very close to the beach, so we could easily go there before and after the Conference sessions. The service at... More
