This friendly, good value hotel is ideal for the beaches in this area. 1 minute to the beach, with great sea view rooms and fantastic local restaurants I can fully recommend it. Very comfortable stay with lovely rooms and all mod cons. required for a pleasant stay in Athens. It's close enough to get to the city centre and we'll... more

Friendly and professional staff, made me feel very welcome. Room was comfortable besides the hard mattress, but that's just me :-) Ideally located close to the beach and public transport, only 10 mins bus ride to glyfada the action centre. more

This is a great spot to have a peaceful break and explore the attica coast with its beaches, coves and restaurants/bars, but still within reach of Athens (amazing city) at approx 40 minutes by bus. Top tips: 1. take a car to get around and see the scenic coast 2. Book a superior room to get a sea view (the... more

The Amarilia is a great value! They have very competitive rates and are only 50 mts from the beach. they also have a nice pool in the back, but we where almost the only one there. we stayed in room 616 and loved it! Clean, comfy beds and one of the best bathrooms I have seen. more

I attended a conference held at the Amarilia and was most impressed with the helpful and friendly staff. They went above and beyond, with everything from providing guests with normal tourist information to helping one conference participant replace a stolen passport (pick-pocketed in Athens), as well as with logistical needs of the event. The location is about an hour outside... more

We stayed at Amarilia for a week in Sep last year and had such a great time that we are booked in again for this year. We hired a two bedroom suite on the 5th floor. This suite had 3 balconies with excellent views to the bay, separate living room and 2 large bedrooms which was perfect for the kids.... more

We stayed at Amarilia for 1 night over Easter. The atmosphere is excellent at the hotel and the view is absolutely stunning. Having stayed in many different areas in and around Athens we can say that this is the most beautiful spot in and around Athens. more

Booked this hotel to relax for a couple of days after visiting bustling Athens. The hotel looks fine, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good. There weren't many guests at this hotel at that moment, though it was in the middle of summer and the hotel is near a beach. The hotel itself is very nice, but... more
