This hotel was at the last leg of our trip and was definintely the worst of the three. The staff were unfriendly and not really willing to help foreigners. I heard more "No's" then actual answers to questions I asked the front desk. There's a big selection for breakfast and the bathrooms were really nice...though it doesn't match the rest... more

Good experience: close to Metro and train station, making access to taxis and the rest of the city easy; roof bar (drinks are not cheap); view is tremendous from the roof cafe/pool area; cafe around the corner to the left is pretty good. Unexpected experience: air conditioning, even on high speed, is not really cool, and there is no thermostat;... more

We stayed in the Oscar Hotel for 2 nights. Parked in the street just up from the hotel and asked the guy on reception if our car would be OK there - he assured us it would. Went out later and it had been broken into and a bag stolen. Frustrating after having driven all the way from Scotland (in... more

Friendly staff, typical good Greek hospitality, excellent location next to metro, clean large rooms, piscine with fantastic view to Parthenon, good price, close to museums and other main attractions (Omonia, Sintagma, Plaka, Monastiraki, Akropolis), sufficient breakfast, beautiful paintings from famous painters in the basement. more

Excellent hotel, with extremely friendly staff, good breakfast, logical price, very good location-METRO, close to museums and to down town area, exceptional expensive paintings on the walls from very famous European painters. We stay in the hotel for 4 nights with my wife. more

Everything was pretty good except for the unfriendly staff, we had questions regarding different things and they were unattentive and wanted to get rid of you fast, the only person that actually helped us was the guy at the front desk that was working in the morning..the mid-shift guy and the late-night one were terrible! more

We found this hotel to be absolutely brilliant!! We were slightly worried when we looked at other peoples' reviews about this hotel, but were in fact extremely impressed by what we found! The staff of this hotel were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you. The maids cleaned the room everyday and gave fresh towels. There... more

I booked this hotel through hotelbook.com mostly based on the description given through the website at $160.00 USD per night. When we arrived there was no reservation made, and they could not locate it becasue it was a holiday in Greece. They had a room available for us and were quick to get us keys, without requiring any information from... more

We stayed at the Oscar Hotel in Athens for 2 nights. It wasn't the greatest hotel, but it wasn't the worst. The showers were so small. The breakfast was pretty decent. It's right off the metro line which was very convient. But it was clean and the staff was nice. more

The Oscar hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The area was dirty and the roof-top view was nothing worthwhile. The breakfast was horrible, and even though the breakfast hours run long, the food was usually gone after 2 hours because of the hungry mob. The staff was insulting, rude, and not helpful. I strongly... more
