This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. Spacious and clean. Room very comfortable with tea/coffee amenities. Rooftop garden vey pleasant, housekeeping excellent, slow on service at downstairs bar and food and drink a little overpriced, in general. Note that they have no parking facilities although they co-operate with local secure parking facilities. Very easy to sight-see... More

just a walk from the acropolis, the hop on bus, the little train, the restaurants etc. The roof top restaurant is an oasis of calm in the busy city and a nice change from tyropita and souvlaki etc. The view of the acropolis is lovley as the light goes down.

Our tour bus company put us here for 3 nights. At first greeting one could be impressed with the lobby, beautiful pool area and roof top restaurant with a great nighttime view of the Acropolis. However, when we opened the door to our room our hearts sank. The room décor was very outdated and in much need of a redo.... More

Travel Agent review: This is a good choice for Athens. Athens is HUGE with over 5million people. This hotel is a great location, around the corner from the Acropolis Museum. Rooms are nice, service good, great restaurant at top of hotel looking up to the Parthenon. Beds are low and pillows are hard but that is my only complaint. I... More

I wouldn't call this a 5 start luxury hotel based on the rooms - old, tired decor, poor water pressure although spotlessly clean. But I would call it 5+ star in terms of location! That and the stunning, totally stunning rooftop restaurant - an absolute must if you stay here!!!! Would definitely recommend this place!!!

The benefit of this hotel is a location. This hotel stays in walking distance from historical center of Athens. All another are average and no more. I see a public parking about one or two blocks from hotel but I didn't see any parking at the hotel. All streets in this region of Athens were full of car. So keep... More

This hotel is a great base to explore the Acropolis, it is a 5/10 minute walk along the street. The rooms are spacious and clean, including a balcony with outdoor seating. The breakfast buffet is very average, there are a few local cafe's nearby with better quality. The rooftop restaurant however, is of a very high standard. A lovely atmosphere... More

Hotel is a bit old, and would not really call it a Luxury hotel, as it is advertised. However in saying that the Hotel was a good place to stay with a great location. Staff are friendly and quite helpful. Breakfast was really good. Great hotel if you want to be in the city of Athens. I am sorry I... More

My trip to Athens was for a research conference, which was held at the hotel. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant. Great location, within easy walking distance of many Athens highlights (Acropolis, museums, Ancient Agora). Also relatively close to the metro stations, but a cab is probably easier the first... The Divanii Palace Acropolis hotel is well-situated for those wanting a short work to the Acropolis. The staff is more on the site of efficiency than friendliness. You will get your room key, your bags will be taken to the room, and you will get seated when you go for breakfast or to sit in the rooftop bar. However, the... More
