The Divani was great for our 3 day stay in Athens for the first destination of our honeymoon. The location is great, the hotel is in the "shadow" of the Akropolis. Which also puts you near the plaka. The personnel in general were very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful with any questions...By European standards the hotel rooms were a good... more

We stayed here for five nights as part of a tour of Greece. I could not fault this hotel. Our room was reaonably sized, very clean and comfortable. We had a good view of the Acropolis from our balcony (without having to stand up and lean over the edge of the rail). The buffet breakfasts were excellent with a wide... more

This hotel bills itself as a 4-5 star hotel but in reality, with the exception of the roof bar, it really is no better than a 3-star facility. However, it definitely charges 4-5 star prices, and with the dollar being quite weak against the Euro, this place cost an arm. In exchange, we didn't get a whole lot. We booked... more

I stayed here for six nights in July, 2008. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and a good value for tourists. Although I stayed as both part of a tour and independently, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were ample in size, with plenty of space for three people to move around in. Each room had a... more

We stayed for 2 nights while in Athens and wished we'd picked another hotel. The hotel is very old with outdated facilities. There were always big tour groups in the lobby and the reception was obvious always too busy to answer our questions. Beds were hard, washroom was very small with cracks on the door and mold on the wall.... more

A large, good quality hotel with very efficient staff, well appointed rooms and all the facilities one would expect from a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, however, it is periodically (almost daily) swamped by large American tourist groups on "do Greece in a couple of days'" tours which turn the lobby area into a bedlam of noise The food at breakfast... more

I stayed at the Divani for three days during a corporate meeting. Overall, a good stay. Observations: *Our cost was very reasonable, but it may have been because we were a group of 25 having a meeting. *Cruise ships use this hotel A LOT. There were, literally, many more Americans in the hotel than Greeks. *The lobby is frequently very... more

This hotel had an excellent location to walk to the Acropolis and the Plaka. Rooms were above average with nice bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner buffet was good also, but don't ask for coffee or tea-they charged $8.00 euros! Request a room overlooking the street. Our room overlooked the courtyard area and there were many school groups... more
