Lovely hotel - very well located for all sites of Athens - very clean - professional helpful staff who spoke English. As Athens is a very large & busy city there was constant noise from the street below (as to be expected in any city) and the balcony, although nice and large, was overlooked by occupants of apartments opposite so... We were on the second floor. Reception were always helpful and spoke in English. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was very small, shower leaked on the bathroom floor. Beds were extremely hard, and the walls were very thin. Very noisy in the corridors from house cleaning and other guests. If you want a hotel to relax in, in piece... More

Wifi sucks, electrical outlets are non-functional, rooms are dismal and noisy. There are much better values in town, in equally good locations. Don't waste your money...Go elsewhere! My stay at the Athinias Hotel was much more comfortable.

As a professional tour operator at DM Vacation I always rate the hotels based on the quality level that they advertise. This is a three star hotel and exceeds most things I would expect in a three star quality hotel. It has a lovely modern lobby, kind staff and the rooms are good size. They are clean and modern and... Pleasant place with clean room, big balcony and nice bathroom. WiFi strong. Breakfast fine and $7€. Short walk to the sites, with friendly staff. We'd stay again. No parking but lot up the street. Some great restaurants very close.

At first we thought this hotel was in the dodgy end of town, but it ended up being a five minute walk from the restaurants, museums, the Acropolis Parthenon and miles of shopping right near the Plaka. Rooms are basic, very basic, but free wifi which we didn't really have a problem with. Bathrooms are a bit out dated with no exhaust... More

I stayed in the Acropolis Select for three evenings recently and found the hotel to be fairly ordinary. The bedroom in the main was spacious enough but some architectural genius had placed the toilet pedestal in line with the bathroom door so it only half opened. The bathroom was on the small side with a bath and shower rather than... More

Payed 65 euros for a room for two, nice facilities, friendly staff, good breakfast and location. The bathroom needs a little work, the shower was a little clogged. But definitely wouldn't pay more that 100 euros for it.
