I booked this hotel for one night based on previous reviews on TripAdvisor. When we arrived in Athens, my friend and I realized that the airlines had lost our luggage and we were unable to continue sight-seeing and traveling to different parts of Greece until our luggage was found. This hotel went above and beyond when they heard we lost... More

The Golden Age in Athens is more or less what you'd expect from a hotel oriented to the business segment. It's well located, in a safe neighborhood, 10 minutes away from the metro station. The room is not too big, but decently equipped and very clean. Nothing to notice in the decorations, maybe a little worn out and quite impersonal...... More

The hotel is nice and staff very friendly. Breakfast is good. There is a metro station 2 mn away. Wifi worked just fine (I specify this since some earlier reviewers complained). The neighborhood is safe though there are very few restaurants around, which led us to have dinner at the hotel a couple of times (14 euros for a three... More

This was a very nice hotel, obviously catering to foreign and business travelers. The room had nice amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, plenty of variety and served in a nice dining hall. The staff was cordial. The hotel is in a safe area, we were comfortable walking to the metro station about 5 minutes away, which was great... More

We just returned from staying in this lovely hotel today. We chose this hotel based on other reviews and I'm so glad that we did. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The A/C worked well despite the 98ºF temperature outside. We had free WiFi but you could pay extra for faster WiFi.... More

I selected this hotel because of its proximity to the metro line and airport connection, and good reviews of fellow travelers. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. The personnel friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable (and larger than most European hotel rooms I had before), the location is simply superb. The 'view' from my balcony made my... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a trip round the Greek Islands. It was very easy to get to as it's only a five minute walk from a metro station that goes straight to/from the airport. The welcome was very friendly and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean. I... More

I was surprised at the great quality and service for the price. The breakfast is a delight and the staff is extrodinarily helpful. I don't know my way around Athens, they were great in helping me with transportation. Nice rooms, the breakfast service was excellent with good fresh food and extremely attentive service staff.
