We were 4 and so we booked 2 double rooms with interconnecting door, with 1 bathroom between rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Felt at home. Golden Age Hotel is in a really safe area, with a metro station just a block away. We felt safe coming back at late hours at night. Super helpful staff. Great breakfast. It... More

Excellent place to stay. Good location - very close to Megaro Mousikis Metro, also seemed like a much safer area then Omonia. Room was very comfortable and clean, but no coffee or tea making facilities. Lots of choice at breakfast. The staff were lovely and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Good value basic hotel with helpful friendly staff. Good location for Megaron Conference Centre and metro from airport all just a short walk. For a business hotel the down side was no iron or coffee making facilities in the room was a big downside.

We stayed in room 319. The hotel is nice, with clean rooms and common areas and friendly staff in all departments. Breakfast had a good variety if food. It is located reasonably close to the Megaro Mousikis metro station.

I stayed for one night at Golden Age last month. The hotel is and centrally located just a short walk from metro station. Standard rooms and bathrooms were rather small and looked aged. The mattresses were very hard for me. There was also a small balcony facing to the back side of the hotel. Breakfast and meals were fine.

Golden Age is very nice, clean and well-organised hotel. All hotel staff is very efficient and friendly. Location is ideal. There is also free WiFi available. Food seems to be the main disadvantage of the hotel: Dinner experience was poor & Breakfast was good in terms of variety but the quality of some items offered (i.e. juice, spinach pie) was... More

We have just returned from our a trip to Athens. In the hotel we spent 4 nights, executive room, number 701, on the seventh floor. The position of the hotel is a very good in safe and nice area, just twenty minute walk to Syntagma Square, or taxi for the price of 3-4 euros. We traveled by car, which we... More

We stayed a weekend. We have used our car, it was easy to reach the hotel. The next building is a parking which isn't expensive for the hotel's customers (9€/d). The hotel itself can be proud for the 4 stars it has. Pleasant lobby and bar, rooms warm and very well equipped, mini bar full, bathroom very clean. Breakfast excellent... More

A fluke versus a trend...A repeat customer is the positive proof of sustained excellence in Greek Hospitality...They did it again at the Golden Age hotel.
