I selected this hotel because of its proximity to the metro line and airport connection, and good reviews of fellow travelers. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. The personnel friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable (and larger than most European hotel rooms I had before), the location is simply superb. The 'view' from my balcony made my... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a trip round the Greek Islands. It was very easy to get to as it's only a five minute walk from a metro station that goes straight to/from the airport. The welcome was very friendly and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean. I... More

I was surprised at the great quality and service for the price. The breakfast is a delight and the staff is extrodinarily helpful. I don't know my way around Athens, they were great in helping me with transportation. Nice rooms, the breakfast service was excellent with good fresh food and extremely attentive service staff.

We stayed here for the first time in Athens and it was a great experience. Service here is good, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is near the centre and easy to get to. The hotel gave us excellent recommendations and were very helpful for places to visit , shop and eat. We will be back.

The Golden Age Hotel offers a comfortable room, great location and very tasty breakfast for anyone looking to visit Athens. It is located just off a main road in Athens and is neither difficult to get to nor far from any of the main tourist locations in Athens. It is very easy to access both the bus and train from... During a recent trip to Greece, our family stayed at the Golden Age Hotel. The hotel is located in a run down looking part of Athens and can be very unsettling with the proliferation of graffiti, trash in the street, and the nearby dilapidated park. HOWEVER, once you step inside the hotel you will find a very clean, albeit Spartan... More

Stayed here as part of a bus tour group and believe it to be a well-chosen hotel, one of the best for our whole trip. Lobby, check-in, front counter staff all worked. Staff went out of their way, even placing phone calls for me and sending a locksmith for a faulty door lock. Good sized room, good view over park... More

I was very pleased with this choice for my recent business trip to Athens. Located next to a main metro stop it provided me with the easy access to various RDV in Athens. I was also able to enjoy some great historic sites near by. The reception was very helpful - directing me to where I could purchase a needed... More

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in early July 2014. The location of the hotel is about 30 minutes walking distance to attractions such as the Acropolis. There is a metro station 5 minutes around the corner and is generally well connected by road. The hotel is on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper... More

Stayed in the executive suite and it was worth the money! Great views, I could have stayed up night just admiring the city lights. I'd choose this happily again. Good breakfast. The location is convienient, just a five minute walk from the metro station.
