The hotel was amazing and beautiful with an amazing view but what encouraged me to write a review is how accommodating and helpful the staff was! Everyone was eager to help, pleasant and went out of their way to make our anniversary trip a success!

Arrived early, about 9:30am and had bags checked at no charge. Took a tour of the city with Dimitrius, who talked a lot but was a good driver/tour guide. Returned to hotel and taken to room which had a view of the Acropolis. Had a late dinner in the breakfast/dining room and to bed in a wonderfully comfortable bed and... More

We chose this hotel based on other Tripadvisor reviews. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect for this price range. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was nice, with a wide range of food choices available. The hotel is in a central location, easy walking distance from the Metro in Syntagma Square and from... More

Easy choice: A great location in Placka district, minutes walk to shopping/sites. 25 Euro taxi from pier/55 Euro (double night fare) to airport. Couldn't be more happy with location/staff. Restaurants and mini-marts within blocks. 6th floor room we had, sorta had a view of Acropolis, as with the balcony door open, we couldn't actually see the Acropolis but had the... More

We spent three nights here before a Windstar cruise to Egypt. We had a much better Athens experience this time than our last trip there in 2008 when we stayed in a different hotel. We just had a regular room (no Acropolis view) but it was roomy, the bed was really comfortable, and it was reasonably quiet. We weren't thrilled... More

We recently stayed at the Electra Palace Hotel for two nights prior to our Greek Island cruise. We met up with friends that had stayed here a couple of time before and went with their recommendation and were glad we did. We reserved a standard room and were pleased with our accomodations. (And one of these trips I'll remember to... More

We spent four nights at this great hotel last month prior to a cruise. While the pricing is a bit on the high side, having a balcony room overlooking the Acropolis was pretty darn cool! The room was a decent size - not large, but not that small As are often in Europe. The breakfast in the mornings sitting outside... More

Nice hotel, wonderful location within easy walking distance to Syntagma Square, shoppin on Ermou St., the Acropolis, and the Agora. Large, good, breakfast buffet and nice staff. A little pricey, but our suite overlooked the Parthenon, which is spectacularly lit at night.

We loved this hotel; it was with in walking distance to many of the major attractions, friendly staff who helped with travel information and taxis, great breakfast in the morning, and very clean and comfortable room!
