My husband and I stayed stayed for three nights. The hotel members were helpful in giving directions and ordering a taxi for us. The hotel is super clean. The location is right next to the metro and across from the Acropolis. Definitely recommend. I would stay here again.

Dear Nasha M A 'definite' recommendation cannot pass unnoticed- thank you for posting your comments and for giving us the 'super clean' adjective. We will certainly pass it on to our team who will be 'super proud' for that. We, at PHILIPPOS, will be glad to welcome you again. More

The hotel is situated in a prime location for walking to the Acropolis, Plaka District, and most all of the historic sites in Athens. If you don't want to walk to the sites, the Acropolis metro stop is just a short stroll from the hotel. One could not ask for a more hospitable staff from the front desk to housekeeping.... More

The location is great, literally a block from the Acropolis museum, in a nice safe area of Athens. My family strolled around at night a lot and felt totally safe. In fact we felt totally safe everywhere in Athens (although it's all covered with graffiti). Takes about 5-10 mins to reach the entrance to the Acropolis, about 20-30 minutes to... More

Cannot really be that optimistic about this hotel. I guess most of the rooms has a balcony. My room was a former Storage room (?). It still had the stairs to the street. The bed was uncomfortable, very soft. The bathroom has the same size as my suitcase. Wifi mostly does not work in the room. On the bright side,... More

All the reviews about its perfect location are spot on, but I can't say enough about the staff. They really do bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time in Athens. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt welcomed. We did a Delphi trip and missed the bus pickup and they made arrangements to... More

The hotel was on the smaller side and the bathroom a tight fit for tall people, but it's location was perfect for what we wanted to do! Explore the acropolis area and the touristy Plaka. Wifi worked great. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. The manager was helpful with directions and helping us plan our stay. The Acropolis, museum and... More

The breakfast was well presented with a very good selection. the hotel is well situated for transport, shopping and restaurants. It is vey close to the Acropolis. WiFi is free. Plus points: staff are very friendly nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is immaculately clean, it's cheap, free wifi and the location is one of the best in Athens. Very local to the acrpolis, the underground, the trams to the coast and the tourist bus stops. The breakfasts are plentiful and have local ingredients. Lots of wonderful local restaurants,... More

I stayed at this hotel twice during a tour of Greece. On my first visit I was in a room with no view (but it was still a nice room). On my second stay, which was my last night in Greece, boy did I get spoilt! I got the only room on the 7th (top) floor of the hotel with... More

The choice location - just steps from the Acropolis - can't be beat. The staff is friendly and the breakfast substantial. The rooms are small but clean - most have balconies. I would recommend it highly.
