The cleanest hotel with the most honest and polite employees I have ever been . The food is also nice and cheap. Depending on its price I believe that it is a nice hotel. The stuff are really kind people that are trying always to do their best.

The hotel is located along a main street of Athens so noise in the bedrooms located on the hotel's front can be disturbing. The rooms haven't seen renovation from a long time and (I've changed two) still keep a distinctive smoky smell of the time when this practice was allowed. Breakfast has quite a good variety and tastes are as... More

Zafolia hotel was a big disappointment. To start, the location was far from the city center and in back of Mount Lykavettos, so there were no glorious views of the Acropolis at all. Not even on the roof. Second, even if your room had a balcony, the view was of scary, dark, soot covered, factory-looking buildings, except for the roof... More

I was booked in as part of a Globus Holiday. Nice hotel within walking distance to some shops and cafes. The staff are very pleasant and helpful although a couple of reception staff have limited english. Roof top has great views of Athens although the pool is not heated. A little disappointing after a long flight. Rooms are clean but... More

We stayed at Zafolia Hotel on the last night before flying home and found it quite good. Being a party of 5 we stayed in adjoining rooms with one exit door (great thinking especially with kids). The rooms where clean and comfortable and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, and there is underground parking if you have a car. Our... More

The patio on the suite was excellent, lot's of room. Comfy bed. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, nothing bad. I am not sure if only suites get free Wi Fi but it was included in my package. I noticed a lot of negative responses on the rooms. I cannot comment on normal rooms but the suite... More

A lovely, but not very big, rooftop pool with a magnificent view of Mount Lycabettos / Lykavittos and the rest of Athens - you can even see the sea. The pool bar opens at 3.30 PM - don't know if it is because it was October or if it's like that throughout the year. Very plain rooms (like in most... More

My wife and I were there for 3 nights. The hotel is situated on a very busy road and noise insulation is insufficient if your room is on Alexandra Ave. The beds are extra hard which did not help for a good sleep. Apart from this, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is OK. However, you would expect... More

Great hotel with a lovely rooftop pool / bar and restaurant. The service was great throughout - reception were very helpful. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. Location isn't great as the nearest metro stations are 10 - 15 mins walk, but there are many passing taxis and fares are cheap to the centre of town. Free... More

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Reception staff willing to help with all information requests and tour bookings. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Bathrooms are large and include a bathtub. Location is ok. 5 Euro taxi will take you to just about anywhere in central Athens. Breakfast buffet is average. No fresh fruit or potatoes and limited pastries.
