Through my travel agent I booked a trip to the Greek islands with a few days in Athens, the company that sold the trip suggested the Titania and said it was a 4 star hotel; well it is not that at all. Rooms are 70's at best, it stated it has been remodeled but neither of the two rooms I... More

We had 2 rooms in Titania Hotel to begin our Grecian Holiday. This hotel is good value for money. Nothing fancy but acceptable in all aspects. Breakfast had a good selection and was served as early as 5am for those who have an early check out. Location is good as it is a short walk to the Plaka and to... More

This was our only hotel we stayed in while in Athens. It supposedly gives you an impression that it's a 5-star hotel when walking into the lobby, but when we walked into our room, it smelled moldy. Once again, the culprit was the (renovated) bathroom. I didn't really pinpoint where the smell was coming from, but one of the culprits... More

Three days in Athens were pleasant at this hotel. Staff were exceptional. Rooms clean and well serviced. Only nuisance was paying for WiFi in the room and then one period not working for several hours. Otherwise can highly recommend this hotel and location only a 10 minute walk to Syntagma Square

I couldn't agree more than those who list this hotel as terrible, but I rate it as poor because of the bathroom cleanliness (exept from the moulded curtain)... I explain: room Nr 636 is spacious but sooooo outdated that ALL the furniture is worn - the desk chair was ripped - the carpet was really filthy. Mattresses and linens were... More

Reception staff were welcoming and helpful, our room was of reasonable size with a small balcony overlooking a quiet sidestreet. The cleanliness was excellent. We needed to call room service one day as we had not been left any cups and saucers. These were brought up promptly - before the kettle had boiled! Breakfast was satisfactory with a large and... The hotel sits on a very busy street so ask for a quiet backroom as I did and I slept very well. But the hotel is suffering a little from the need of a facelift, as is Athens but then it is understandable. I simply slept there so have no comments to make about the food, service etc. The few... Great hotel, great atmosphere, great food, great rooms, great service. Always would go back, open 24/24h, very friendly people and piano music, and extended menus, breakfast is awesome with coffee and fresh orange juice, almost an all you can eat walking buffet. The menus for the evening are top of the bill and almost art, a shame to eat them.... More

The lobby which smelled of sewage was quite attractive, but spoiled by the stink.... The internet connection was very expensive.... there should be free wi fi in such a hotel.... The corridors smelled of cigarettes and the carpets were filthy.. The rooms are very outdated, and the bathrooms, which also smelled of sewage, were also very outdated and not clean....... More
