Okay, this is a cheap place to stay, so my expectations were not high and I am not a fussy traveller. But the carpets were heavily stained, the room stank of damp smelly feet so bad that we had to keep the windows open constantly. The staff are friendly however. The neighbourhood is a bit dodgy but from previous experience... More

We stayed here because it was cheap, and it was about what you would expect for the price. The area outside was not nice, I wouldn't venture out by myself. The plumbing worked some of the time, and the toilet didn't really flush. The room was spacious and clean, and we had enough toilet paper, towels and linen and there... More

The place does not look at all like the pictures. It is in a very scary neighborhood. We had to walk around the room in flip flops cause there were a lot of weird stains on the ground and the beds were very uncomfortable. It is very close to the city center but I would not recommend this place. Especially... More

Lousy neighborhood but close to Omonia subway station. Room smelled moldy and WiFi cuts in and out. It is cheap if you just want a place to drop your bags and shower. I recommend taking a cab back There at night, versus walking. Short walk to monastriaki square and the acropolis.

On the plus side, Soho Hotel is a very short walk to Plaka, so we found that easy access a fantastic bonus. The air con was also a bonus. If Soho Hotel had properly represented itself, I would have no issue with its humble accommodation. I never felt like I was staying in a dangerous location, but I did feel... More

Hotel was adequately clean, had very good air conditioning, decent wifi and friendly staff, for the money I paid (£8 a night) I can't complain with the value. The hotel however is situated in the biggest dump I've ever seen, with a strong resemblance to a Syrian war zone. Drug dealers and prostitutes lined the filthy dark streets, I don't... More

I travelled in February with my boyfriend to Greece. I arranged everything, though I was scared after I booked it and wanted to cancel (which I could not). I am glad I did not because Athens is so pretty, especially the beach part. The hotel was in a dodgy location, with crawlers around every corner which made me happy I... More

First impressions of this place were bad. The cab driver who dropped us off insisted for us to leave all valuables at the hotel lock up and to be careful after dark in this area. The actual room was pretty standard, not the cleanest and the shower was broken. Would also advise women to be accompanied by a Male as... More

The hotel is situated at a good distance of Plake which is great. If you're a girl who's travelling alone, it might be a little intimidating at times because of the neighborhood. The inhabitants are not accustomed to seeing young girls. You pay for what you get as others might of said. There is an elevator which is great and... More

For half of our stay we had to have someone with a screwdriver come to our room every time we wanted to get in or out...Room was okay, just always wear shoes and don't look too close at the sheets. Every room has a balcony so that's a good place to drink and pretend you aren't in the ghetto of... More
