The hotel is good. Helpful staff, clean rooms and wifi included. We overslept and missed breakfast (until 10) but it looked ok from the outside :) Only drawback was that the area (which is central with walking distance to e.g. Plaka etc) is a bit rough at evenings. This is probably why the hotel is so cheap, compared to for... More

I enjoyed this hotel very much-simple-modern and good location-I like that bathrooms and room service was very good-I had everything I needed and enjoyed sleeping here. The Terrace is also an added bonus for the fresh air and a good place to sit and think about the long trip back home. More

This is a perfectly nice hotel, and almost rates a very good. The rooms are fine, the same as any Best Western anywhere. The staff was very helpful, even calling about a pre-booked (so the hotel didn't get any commission) tour that was iffy due to lack of business (and was ultimately cancelled.) The location is within easy walking distance... More

We arrived at this hotel at night in the middle of a thunder storm. It is not in a very nice area and as two ladies we didn't really want to walk around at night or in the middle of a storm but the hotel doesnt have a restaurant so we weren't able to eat at all. There is also no... More

I cannot fault the staff at this Hotel, they are simply amazing. We arrived in Athens after a few delays due to air traffic control strikes, which while we were in the air became a full blown strike and no public transport was operating in Athens. We were unable to get from city centre to out hotel, so after ringing... More

This was a great hotel. It had large, clean rooms and breakfast was a plus. It has a great location and is a good value for the dollar. I will stay here again on my next trip to Athens. More

We have spent 3 nights at the Best Western Pythagorion and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good and fresh, the reception staff went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Free wi-fi in the room worked perfectly. The hotel is located a few blocks away from Omonia metro station not... More

We stayed here one night in October, paying about 30% of what we had paid for a night at a different hotel (Athens Gate) at the start of our trip. Yes, you get less here in terms of the view and the state of the accommodations and, especially, in terms of the breakfast. But do you get 70% less? No... More

Due to the transit strikes, I arrived late in the evening. Kostas was very helpful at the front desk. The room was great, although I had a room facing a back alley - not really scenic but at least very quiet. The three key elements that I look for in a hotel were met: plenty of hot water, strong wifi... More

Glad we only stayed in Athens for two nights. We were warned by multiple taxi drivers that we should not walk around the hotel's neighboring streets after dark. One driver even pointed to the street adjacent to the hotel and said "many drugs over there." The hotel itself is average, our room just fit us three slim girls with luggage.... More
