Close to the touristic area of Athens-15 minutes walk to Monastiraki, this is a great choice for a someone who doesn't want to spend too much time indoors, and who would in a city like Athens?Good breakfast-especially the yogurt!, more than helpful staff at the front desk, and we did not feel unsafe at all!We leave on the 29th, and... We went to the Best Western not expecting much as it doesn't cost much at all and in Sydney this hotel is so so. From the very beginning of our arrival staff were friendly, helpful and if we had any issues they were always accommodating. The room was such a surprise! Clean, no smoking, roomy, has wifi, has aircon and... More

Visited July 28-Aug2, 2014. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and tried hard to accommodate guests requests. The hotel was great but in need of some renovations. Location was quite central, walking distance to the Monstraki Square, where all the action happens in Athens. Vendors selling anything you could want, great view of the Acropolis! Great places to... we were kind of afraid to stay downtown but finally our stay at Pythagorion was a success. We found ourselves close to almost everything. Plaka and Psyri within walking distance . The metro station of Omonia, some 300 meters from the hotel. The area was very quite at all times. Staff and breakfast remarkable . We will definitely come back... More

The Best Western Pythagorion Hotel boasts a very helpful staff willing to assist you with any matters concerning your stay including the metro system, restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not up to the same quality as its employees. The rooms have very thin walls, meaning you can easily overhear your neighbours. Pythagorion Hotel is also located on... More

The hotel was right on the line of a pretty shady area, but nonetheless we still felt safe thanks to a courteous staff and their locked-dor policy. Our room was fine, nothing amazing. We had a huge deck with a view of the Acropolis, which was really nice. The breakfast was actually surprisingly good, with enough of a selection to... More

During my planning phase, I saw many reviews about this hotel in tripadvisor as well as in other sites which indicated that the location of this hotel (near Omonoia Metro) is seedy and may not be safe and so on. We stayed there during our first-ever visit to Athens for 2 nights and it was a great experience for us.... More

The BW Pythagorian Hotel in Athens was ideal for our three night stay in the Greek capital. The rooms were clean and spacious enough plus we had a balcony on the top floor giving good views across the city. Hotel staff were friendly too and decent wi-fi too throughout the hotel. Breakfasts more than adequate for us - a reasonable... More

Breakfast was poor. Our room was on the street side of the hotel and the was too much noise from the street. Room fridge was not working, we asked for it to be fixed but nothing was done. Overall it was cheap but not good enough for 3 star hotel

Nice, clean hotel. I payed very little for it and was pleasantly surprised. It's a few minutes walking distance from the metro. Hotel staff was friendly and recommended a great place to eat. Would stay here again.
