I paid 50euros/night for single room with breakfast. Old decorated rooms with poor cleanliness, clean sheets, towels and floor but dirty floor under the beds, windows and balcony. Polite and friendly personnel Breakfast in small room with a basic hotel breakfast(milk, coffee, juices, bread, cake, cookies, honey, jam, croissant, cheese, ham, bacon, eggs, corn flakes).Breakfast is served 7.00-10.30, so you have the time... A great value for money hotel in the center of Athens nearby two metro stations ( Evagelismos and Megaro Moussikis - 7 minute walk each). It is located in one of the safest areas in Athens and I would definitely recomend it to anyone who wants a nice clean room in a reasonable price.

The hotel has small and dark rooms and old furniture. It is medium clean. The price is almost adequate for the conditions the hotel offers. If you are not planning to stay too much in the room it is OK. But the breakfast is very poor and has no variations from one day to another, so I advice not to... More

In brief- title covers pretty well. Worse- do NOT trust the receptionists, probably about nothing. I was sent late in the vening 5 blocks away to a tavern (which was mediocre, to be polite), while exactly 5 meters near the door (but in the other direction...) it was a quite nice looking one, by far more appropriate. I also asked... More

Mixed feelings about this hotel, it has quite a few positives but some of its quirks are definitely not for everyone. The area in which this hotel is located is quite good - close to the Megaros Moussikis metro station, 2 stops away from Syntagma Square with Acropolis being the stop after that. The area is pretty nice, it houses... More

If you want to be close to the museums in Athens this is the place. The hotel is right across the street from the Hilton Athens. The hotel is small not many rooms. Our room was clean and was a typical European hotel. The Staff was VERY helpful and nice. Breakfast buffet was typical, nothing special. But there was a... More

The best I can say about this place is it’s in a great location close to the metro stop. So, it’s convenient, not beautiful, but just know that going in. The breakfast buffet was fine with breads, eggs, ham, cheese, etc. about what you normally get at a Best Western. Rooms were nothing to write about and staff were not... More

A Best Western Smartbox voucher led us to a two night stay in this hotel. The location within Athens was ok (3 metro stops from Monastiraki). The hotel itself is located between a strip club and a starbucks, which I didn't find very intriguing from the beginning. Our room had a bad smell (like it hadn't been used or cleaned... More

We booked this hotel blind needing an overnight in Athens on the way back from the Pelopponese. Our main criteria was that it was close to a metro station on the direct line to the airport and the Ilisia did not disappoint. Situated behind one of Athen's premium hotels, The Hilton, it's a 5 minute walk to Evangelismos metro. It's... More
