This is a great, spotlessly clean hotel, at a very good price. It is located on the west side of Gazi, maybe 10 minutes walk from the metro. I saw a couple of the reviewers comments that the neighborhood might look dangerous, but thats rubbish, it is just a nice Athens neighborhood. Easy access to the metro and the Placa.... More

Great little boutique hotel is a very up and coming area. Don't be fooled by the rough surroundings, this is a fantastic little hotel. Friendly service, clean rooms, the bar and nightlife district (Gazi) is a 10 minute walk...do yourself a favour and stay here when next in Athens

The best part is the location of the hotel which is not far from Acropolis and in fact it lies at a walkable distance and added to that there is also a bar and shopping area around making it a great choice to stay in the city. The rooms are comfortable and nice and staff really knows how to work... More

I went there for 3 nights with my wife and in general the hotel was excellent! the service, the room, the personnel. The location is really close to the Acropolis and the tourist restaurant and bars area. We get a room with a view to the Acropolis it was great! the breakfast is very good and the advice for the... I wouldn't normally write a review, but this hotel was excellent. An overnight stay, staff very obliging, breakfast was served early for our early morning bus trip from Athens bus station. Free wifi in the lobby. Rooms very clean. Could not fault the staff, smiley and friendly.... Lovely. One downside I thought the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, but... More

Good position for us as visiting friends in Athens suburb. Excellent value, large spacious basic room with kitchen facilities and balcony. Breakfast (outside in little terrace garden area) and internet definitely included in our rate (unclear why problem for previous reviewer ?!). Staff were amazingly helpful and obliging (a hospitable trait we learnt was typical of most Greeks!) Would stay... More

I was pleasantly surprised to have one the nicest rooms I have had in a hotel, during my recent 3 night stay at the Mc Queen Hotel. The business class room was a corner room with 2 large balconies, one of which was the biggest I have had in a hotel. Like a nice outdoor room. The room was clearly... More

It's okay, but it's out of the way. Bed feels like cardboard. You have to pay for everything breakfast, internet. It's very roomie and balcony is nice, but you are not going to be in the hotel room for very long to enjoy it because you'll be out and about most of the day exploring.

I stayed 2 nights at McQueen. The hotel is operating in a new building. Everything is brand new. Very big and comfortable rooms, looks like more an appartment than a room. The hotel personel are good, and very helpful. The area of the hotel may seem strange and unsafe but it isnt!

From our initial e-mail booking we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble for the staff at McQueens. Without exception they were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They provided a wheelchair for my wife (recovering from a broken heel), found my granddaughter's lost toy dog and even escorted us to the local taverna to ensure my granddaughter got her... More
