You just can't beat the view (if you choose acropolis view rooms). But the windows face the monsteraki square and there are always people drums late (till 2am, etc) and if you get a lQueen size bed, one sofa (not sofa bed) and a roll up metal bed that they brought in for the fourth person. Excellent breakfast with even... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Amorgos. The Hotel was clean and the receptionist was so helpful and nice! We had drinks later in the evening on the roof top bar and the view was amazing! Shopping is right around the corner from the hotel. We had an amazing time although it was quick. We would definitely... More

One of the best views in Athens, Really in the city center, you can go anywhere easily on foot or with the metro. Very clean. Be careful the hotel is NOT located in a quite area. Two lines of metro are just in front of the hotel. The easiest way yo go to port or the airport is the metro.... More

We have just come back from staying 3 nights at A for Athens, then three weeks on the islands, then 1 night in A for Athens before returning to Perth. What a fabulous place this is. Right in the heart of everything, beautiful breakfast and right at the train station. The only down side, was it was a bit noisy.... More

This hotel was not only a great value, but it was centrally located to all that downtown Athens has to offer. It was a short walk from every attraction that we visited - which was convenient. We stayed on the 5th floor, right beneath the restaurant area and our room had a massive wrap around porch with a first row... More

This hotel could not be any easier to get to from the airport and it's location is wonderful! Our room had a perfect view of the acropolis, it was comfortable, wifi was kind of "in and out" but functional, service was exceptional, but the nightclub at night was quite loud. We had a drink up there before retiring and it... More

My girlfriend and I have recently spent a weekend in Athens. The hotel is very centrally located with easy access to transport, bars, restaurants etc. The breakfast is great and there is a rooftop bar with amazing views of the Acropolis that gets really busy at nights. As a guest you can pre book a table and enjoy the views.... More

We spent five nights at A for Athens. The staff was very friendly and helpful - ready to answer any questions or help in any way they could. The wifi was free. Breakfast was included and the food choices were very good. The view from the roof top restaurant was spectacular. They also served great food for lunch and dinner... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Athens. It was AMAZING! The location is steps away from Monastiraki square and from there a short walk to everywhere you want to go in Athens. The hotel itself is modern & impeccably clean with amazing rain showers. Our room was very spacious with plenty of room to accommodate the... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
