This is a very nice hotel at the heart of city center. It has a wonderful panorama at the terrace bar.The bar is very busy at nights but you can enjoy your breakfasts in silence and peace. There is a separate elevator just for the bar and this helps guests to feel safe. The hotel is just facing the metro station and it... Excellent spot, in the heart of the most animated area of Athens. We had a very good time. Rooms were normal , the staff was friendly. Everything was as it should be. I certainly recommend it for young people who are looking a room in Athens, but nit a luxurious hotel.

We stayed here last week for three nights. We were welcomed by the beautiful Marina who immediately made us feel glad to have chosen this hotel. Marina showed us the best restaurants and services in the area and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel room 442 was spacious clean and tastefully decorated. Large bathroom and shower. Breakfast was on... More

This is a perfectly located hotel where everything is within walking distance. How to get to the hotel? If arriving from Athens airport purchase tickets to the Monastiraki metro stop (no change needed). When you've arrived at the metro take the exit Themidou street and go up the escalators. At the top of the escalators do not walk on to... More

We stayed at A for Athens for one night on our last night in Greece, it actually made us regret we didn't stay in Athens for longer! The hotel is very central, close to the metro, taxi rank, shopping and lots of restaurants and cafes. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a view of the... More

This Hotel was very close to all Attractions in Athens and walking distance to the Metro(across the road). The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful especially Virus( hope I spelt that correct). The only problem was that the hotel has a rooftop bar which is open to the public and the noise can be... More

When visiting Athens I recommend A for Athens for all your hotel needs. You just can't beat the location. You can take the Metro from the airport and get off literally at the entrance to the hotel at Monastiraki station. You'll be right in the middle of all the action. Across the street is the Athens flea market and great... More

This hotel is definitely in the league of budget hotels, but for the value it's great! The location was perfect, so we could pretty much walk everywhere even in the pouring rain we experienced in January! It is right next to the metro stop, so we had an easy trip to and from the airport. It was such a nice... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. We stayed in room 402. The View was spectacular. Breakfast was very tasty. The only downside is the drumming in the square. It's monotonous.

We entered our room to find it was not the one we had ordered, and this was fixed immediately with no problem. I will start by saying pay the extra for the Acropolis view, it is totally worth it!! I stayed with my husband, and 5 yr old plus another adult family member and the room was plenty big enough... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
