This Excellent hotel is a must if you are going to stay in Athens for leisure or Business. The staff are fantastic & make you feel incredibly welcome. They allowed me to check-in slightly early which was a godsend. The room had a great view of the Acropolis & Monastraki square which makes it the ideal location for night life,... More

Chosen this hotel based on its location (Monastiraki metro station, which is at same line as Piraeus (ferry to Greek Islands) and Νeratziotissa (Inter-city train to Kiato then further to Patras then ferry back to Italy). The close proximity to Acropolis is also a important factor. Not to mention walking distance to Temple of Hephaestus, Plaka and shopping street of... More

As a mature couple we loved this hotel . It was quiet with a great location - we could walk everywhere . We would sit on the balcony each day and watch all the action in the square below. It was close to authentic, cheap local restaurants as well as the train back to the airport . Definitely worth the... More

Loved this hotel. Right across from Monastiraki Square, very easy to get here from the airport. Convenient walking distance to Acropolis and numerous sites/museums. Friendly service, great breakfast, nice room, good view of the acropolis from the cafe at top though the food/drink there was a little pricey. Would absolutely stay here again.

Location is perfect. It is close to everywhere. It has a beautiful view. And has a perfect roof bar. Breakfast is delicious. It' s price a litthle high. Akropolis is in front of you. Monastraki is center.

Excellent hotel on Monastiraki Square. Literally across the square from Monastiraki Metro Station. Very spacious and clean room (room 27) on the 2nd floor facing Miaouli Street. Huge shower, in-room kitchenette with small refrigerator. Very pleasant staff, outstanding breakfast on the roof top with the best view of the Acropolis. Can't think of anything negative about our stay. Yes -... More

I spent a couple of nights here in July 2015. What a great hotel with friendly staff and an impressive breakfast area on the roof-top. Well located and just a few steps to some great restaurants in Monastiriki. Would definitely stay here again!!

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
