Average Marriott hotel, service could have been better. Room was spacious. Best thing about the hotel was the rooftop pool and view of the Acropolis. The Hotel is situated on a busy main road which is tricky to walk along. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Syntagme square every hour until approx 8.00pm. Breakfast wasn't included and... more

My distaste for this hotel can only be described in superlatives. The front desk staff and concierge lounge staff were discourteous and seemed to delight in causing discomfort. I wouldn't recommend you use your Marriott Rewards for this hotel. Staff keeps reminding you that your stay is free and you should be greatful to even get a room. They refuse... more

It's a shame this hotel is where it is. It has so much promise with lovely big rooms and friendly staff, but the location lets it down. Rooms up to Marriott standard 3,Should not be a cat 6. But unfriendly staff make the stay unbearable. Had enough of all the problems and checked out early-found the Intercontinental down the street, closer to Acropolis, same type room but friendly staff and 50 euro cheaper. more

Stayed here in mid June as first leg of honeymoon. Staff was very helpful, from the bellman to the front desk. Very patient and efficient. Room service was delivered quickly and with a smile. Rooms were immaculate. Hotel shuttle to city center was right on schedule. Despite its standard Marriott feel (i.e. little unique character), the service and amenities (including... more

I booked a stay in this hotel on the advice a travel agent who said that it was pretty much the only hotel in Athens that had a room that would accommodate my family of four (two adults, five year old and 18 month old.) After staying in a much smaller room in Sparta, I doubt that what she told... more
