Stayed as part of a tour group at this hotel. Worst of all of the hotels we stayed at on the 2 week trip. They have a "holding room" so you can store some items as you travel around the country and islands. They say it is safe while you are gone and you can come back up to 1... more

We ended up at this hotel by default. We were booked into the Myrto Hotel just down the road but upon arrival were told that they were over booked and they had done some sort of sweetheart deal with the Olympic so they handed us some money and sent us packing up the street. I'm glad we did actually, but... more

We arried at the "4 star" Olympic Palace Hotel having been assured of its extensive refurbishment over the previous winter. There was no sign of any refurbishment having taken place, the lobby and guest facilities are very dated and old (ripped and worn chairs) with the rooms being tired, bathrooms with cracked tiles, and having stayed at 3 star Athens... more

We were booked into this "4 star hotel" by our travel agent (who was wonderful but did not have updated info on this hotel). The location is very central to Plaka and Acropolis, but that is about all I can say good about this hotel. We arrived late at night, and shown to our room but the third bed was... more

This hotel has not been updated since it was built if I had to guess. The mattress was so lumpy I had to pile blankets up under the sheets! The air conditioning system smelled of mold as soon as it was turned on in our room which caused my me to cough and sneeze until I was home from the... more

I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago. It is billed as "four star". It is far from it. It is completely run down and need of a major overhaul. The rooms are small and the carpeting looks as though it has not been replaced since the hotel was built probably in the early 60s. The bathrooms are in bad... more

Excellent location, near the airport bus and the Plaka and all of the major tourist attractions. Big hotel room for a decent price. Our room had a balcony where we could see the Acropolis. Would definitely stay there again. more

We stayed here last year for the Olympics and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a clean and central hotel. All the rooms have air con which is what you need in the summer. I don't know if the hotel is good value for money as we paid a lot to stay there for the olympics. The best... more
