My husband, myself and two friends, stayed here for 4 nights. We booked 2 rooms facing the temple of zeus. The first room didn't have a shower so we asked if we could be moved to one that did and were moved without a problem. The room was good, clean and comfortable, well equipped except for the hair dryer which... more

Flew into Athens and headed straight for the islands for R&R. Returrned to Athens prior to departing for sight seeing etc. Clearly Athens is not the beach and is a must do but the hotel was not a good start. Ew. First room was nonsmoking and smelled like a week old ashtray and unihabitable. Second room better but still quite... more

I am so surprised by latest reviews, we stayed here for 5 glorious nights in September, all the staff were so helpful and friendly and extremly informative regarding what to see and do. I am amazed at what the general public complain about...I actually heard some people complaining upon their return to the hotel that they wanted their sunbeds moved... more

The problem with this hotel is that it alleges a 5 star status . We chose this hotel because it was a 5 star, had a pool and in a good location. BUT there are others to choose from with the same list. Upon arrival our rooms were not ready. SO we venutred out to get a snack to return... more

I booked through a travel agent for this hotel. I had read some of the reviews and suspected it would be exactly as it turned out -- not terrific. Let me say that I'm not one of those people who expects everything to be perfect but something happened here that shocked me. I was here twice, at the start of... more

This was a highly disappointing experience. The rooms/suites appear nice, but even after a recent renovation still look just a little threadbare and certainly dated, i.e. 1980s. Still, the view from the hotel is impressive. And the overall location is fine. But this is not a 5 Star property. There is nothing about this property that suggests that it is... more

I won a long weekend in Greece in a competition, flights, accommodation adn 100 euro spending money and our hotel was already booked and paid for and at 5 star we weren't complaining. We checked in and went to our room which was quite small and not really what I had been expecting for a 5 star hotel but nevertheless... more

Reluctantly checked out of this hotel this morning following a nights stay in one of the Athenian Panorama rooms. Athens and the hotel both very quiet due to the holiday season. The hotel is exceptionally well appointed and staffed by a courteous and helpful team. The public areas are gorgeous. and beffiting a 5 star rating. Our room was magnificent... more

We stayed at the Royal Olympic Hotel 5 nights over a 3 week period. The staff were fantastic - very helpful, and they even let us check in early (which was very welcome after a 20 hour flight). The rooms were wonderful, and the air conditioning was very good. Breakfast was great - by far the best hotel breakfast that... more

This hotel makes a big deal about its 5-star status but the only thing really five-star about this place is the price. Our ("standard") room was microscopic: we had to rearrange the furniture to put 2 carry-on suitcases down. There wasn't really a desk but rather some sort of mini-alcove with a type of footrest serving as a stool/chair. I... more
