This is a basic hotel with anything special. -located on a walking distance from the Akropolis metrostation. - views from the roof top restaurant to the Acropolis and to the Zeus temple, witch is just next to the hotel. - room was a bit oldfashionable, some may like those kinds of curtains and chandeliers but I prefer more simplier style.... Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my partner in October 2014, this was our 1st visit to Athens and I did a lot of research prior to booking on trip advisor. We used the bus from the airport to Syntagma Square, where we got off, crossed the road to the taxi rank and got a taxi to the... More

The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport by taxi. Lovely entrance and seating area. Our room was lovely , no real view but very nice with a lovely bathroom and excellent products. The bed was 2 put together which I don't particularly like as the move apart. The roof top restaurant for the views over the Acropolis and... More

The Royal Olympic is a great city and business hotel. It is walking distance to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum and to Syntagma square it is about 950m by foot and the Temple of the Olympian Zeus is right next to the hotel. The Viwe from the rooftop is magnificent. The breakfast was very good and had everything one... More

this is a nice property but it is very overrated and pricey for the amenities. The front desk staff was nice but not overly helpful and the bar, restaurant staff just wanted money and tips. They really didn't care about you as a guest. Two drinks and an appetizer was $50 bucks. That was absurd. The best thing this hotel... More

The 7th floor restaurant is this hotels finest feature. The views of the temples in the park nearby are stunning, as is the view of the Acropolis. Dining here was an experience and the food complemented it. Maybe a little pricey but it's worth it for the location. Breakfast is in the same room but on busy days is a... More

I booked this hotel after reading TripAdvisor reviews and we were very pleased. I booked directly through the hotel's website for a deluxe room; and we were very lucky to have been upgraded to a fabulous suite. The rooftop restaurant, which is also the location for an excellent breakfast buffet, has incredible views and we also enjoyed the dinner we... More

The room itself was the Athenian Panorama room. It is a wonderful room. however... First off, the bed is 2 beds put together. Terribly uncomfortable and you always end up in the middle. Staff at front of house were rude and unwelcoming. they didn't even smile when we arrived late at night bath amenities were decent and the room was... More

when we arrived after a two hour flight delay we were pleased to find we had been upgraded . Our room was superb. We had a view over the temple if Zeus. It was probably one of the largest hotel rooms we've had - about 400 sq/ft plus dressing area and bathroom. The staff were very attentive. Our only complaint... More

Hotel is excellently situated for visiting all the main sites, five minutes from the Acropolis Museum. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was a good buffet, but was very busy. There was an excellent choice of food and lovely views of the Parthenon and Temple of Zeus from the restaurant and bar. The front desk spoke excellent English.
