I chose this hotel almost entirely based on its location and reviews on this site. Overall I liked it. I had one of the smaller rooms, but it had a good feel, windows that opened on to the street and an entertaining design. Soundproofing didn't seem brilliant but I bet that is the case with most Athens hotels, and didn't... More

We've just spent six nights at the Hotel Periscope in central Athens and would highly recommend it. Though fairly compact, the rooms were beautifully clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the knowledgeable staff went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is also in an excellent location. All in all... More

We stayed at the hotel for a few nights on our way to the Greek Islands. Very modern decoration, clean rooms, original design bathrooms, and also great breakfast. The location was right in the middle of the shopping center , next to all the design boutiques and also the best restaurands and trendy bars just outside our door. The restaurant of the... More

We started out our Greece trip in Athens and stayed at Periscope. We had the Penthouse and had our own balcony and upper deck with a hot tub and views of the city. The room was clean and modern and the private balcony was larger than we expected. The whole hotel is pretty compact, I mean let's face it, it's... More

OK - this place is totally cute. Ultra modern rooms, nicely designed (though pretty small), wooden floors, nice new bathroom and super comfy bed. The neighbourhood is lovely - very classy, european and green with nice elegant buildings, lots of young people, a cool little open-air bar street just nearby, Walking distance to all major point of interest, but without... At the end of a 2 week tour of the Cyclades decided to spend a night in Athens before heading home. After scrawling the net looking at average hotels for the money, I decided to spend a bit more and go boutique and very glad I did. The Periscope couldn't have been a better choice. It's not cheap but the... More

We stayed at the periscope for 4 days at the beginning of our summer trip. The location is unbeatable, there is loads of shopping surrounding the hotel, and many restaurants and bars to choose from in the evening for a meal or a drink. Its about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Athens but far enough away to... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights either side of our honeymoon in Naxos and loved it. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful - even lending us a laptop when we had to rebook our ferry tickets. Rooms were clean and stylish and the breakfasts were great. More

I searched high and low for a hotel to cover us on a stopover before heading to the islands and Periscope definately delivered. We wanted something close to the Embassies and also just out of town due to the recent protests etc and this was an absolute gem. The loaction is in Kolonaki and now, after returning to Athens on...
