If you like a well designed room, good service, friendly sttaff and a excellent breakfast , you should choose the Periscope. Kolonaki is a very nice neighbourhood too. We enjoyed dinner nearby. Our rate was a special last-minute rate, you could not beat it!

We stayed the second time at the Periscope in Kolonaki. And we haven't regret. Well, if you want to stay directly to Acropolis or Plaka, you should consider to book another hotel and are under time pressure, because you stay only for one night in Athens. All other should think about booking this small boutique hotel is also very good... More

I loved this place. It has a great location. The neighborhood is full of shops and restaurants. You do not need to go far to get anything you need, including a short walk to the metro. My main purpose was to get a place within walking distance to the American School of Classics and my preference was to not stay... More

Honestly we stayed there in September 2013 and I forgot to review it. Wouldn't know how to categorize this hotel but for us it was a perfect boutique hotel, comfortable and clean and staff was very helpful! And the location is great as I think Kolonaki is the best district to stay at if you want to stay in the... More

We booked the penthouse suite to be sure to get a nice and spacious room for to nights in Athen. Unfortunately the room was not as clean and spacious as we expected, the jacuzzi was dirty and could not be used. Average breakfast. The hotel is situated in a very nice and safe area in Athen with good restaurants nearby.

As many others have written, the location is very nice for wandering around Kolonaki by foot but also quick if meeting people other places in central Athens. The room was comfortable and decor pleasant, as expected. As of December 2013, some construction happening in building directly across street (which I would guess will continue for some months) but at least... More

We've been coming here for several years. Mostly on short stops on the way to & from Mykonos. Sometimes staying up to a week visiting Athens during winter. What I notice is that the hotel is super well maintained and cleaned. The last time I was there, they had renovated the bathrooms even though they seemed fine to me b4... More

I usually stay at the Intercontinental or Hilton when in Athens but this time I did not want to bother with the taxi drivers so opted for location. This hotel has an excellent location right at the center of Kolonaki. It is very small and the service can at times get slow too. Nice modern rooms with poor sound proofing... More

We stayed for a weekend at Periscope. Breakfast is really nice (choice of eggs, bread, fresh orange juice,etc...) the room itself is nothing special. it is clean, quite large (we had a superior room) but shows a bit its age (the bathroom door didn't close anymore) we stayed on the second floor and it is definitely worth asking to say... The hotel had an excellent small breakfast--the staff will cook you eggs and bacon, so just ask! We had the jacuzzi suite on top, and (while expensive) it was amazing! We had views of all Athens, including the Parthenon at a distance. The rooms were very luxurious with a moveable television and blinds, a huge bathroom with a nice shower,... More
