8 of us recently stayed at the SGL hotel while in Athens for two nights. Our stay is best described as very comfortable. The hotel is nice, the staff and management very accommodating. Our shower was horrid (very small and uncomfortable) but otherwise we were very happy. Meals are good, not great with the exception of breakfast, which was excellent.... More

I'm having a very hard time writing about this hotel.... My husband and I recently stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon the second week of June. The common areas were very nice, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room....not so nice. We had just left 4 nights in Santorini and 5 nights in Mykonos so... More

I stayeBrakfast at this hotel just for the night. I have sent in advance my luggage because I had tight connections to arrive in Athens. Indeed with a delay at the first flight I had to be rerouted and arrived at the hotel by 02:00 AM. Everything was working at the check-in and we felt welcomed as if we arrived... More

Our group stayed in four rooms at the hotel for three nights before a cruise. We stayed in room 109, or, "The Fashion Suite." The view of the Parthenon was amazing from the wrap around balcony! Our room was particularly more spacious than the other three we rented, with the head-on view of the Acropolis. All of the rooms had... More

Nice hotel, good views, nice restuarant. rooms clean and not too tired. Rooftop pool small but functional! I was disappointed ther was no free water in the room, not even for day one as a welcome! Had teabags but no way of getting hot water as there was only a coffee pod maker that was 3 euro a shot! Free... More

The Saint George Hotel was a very nice hotel at the foot of Mount Lycabettus. The hotel itself is very nice and I really enjoyed the room. The staff, on the other hand, didn't seem overly helpful. I don't know if they didn't speak English as well as the staff at other hotels, but we just never got the feeling... More

This is not exactly a “boutique hotel” , as I understand the concept. It receives large groups and does a lot of outside events. If you are traveling on your own it means that you will not necessarily get the best accommodation available, priority will be given to groups: I booked six months in advance and was given a 2nd... As soon as I arrived for a 4 night business stay I was quite impressed with this hotel. The welcome/ check in process was friendly and efficient and I even got a room upgrade to the side of the hotel which looks over towards the Acropolis. The room itself (503) must have been recently refurbished, as I didn't have any... More

I was here for three nights to attend a conference (held in this hotel). This is a small boutique hotel located in the midst of a bustling and chic area. I have a room with a tiny balcony that looks towards the Acropolis. I can also hike up Lycabettus Hill Garden (about 20 mins upwards walk through a path) from... More

I can't believe that they dare to advertise as a 5 star. Old, run down and dirty rooms. Mine didn't even have a view. The top floor restaurant has a fantastic view of the city. I will never recommend this hotel. Who checks the star status ????? They really need to come and re rate the hotel !!!
