Everyone was so very helpful and the view from the restaurant and bar were breathtaking. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a balcony. The street noise prohibited you from keeping the doors open.

Nice hotel, 25 minutes walk to most sites and Plaka ( dining and shopping). Shower was somewhat rusty though, but working fine, so who cares. The gym was closed for renovation, I wish I was told that at the time of booking - had to skip my usual morning exercise. By the way it doesn't look like you can jog... More

Staying at the St Grorge was a real added bonus to out trip to Athens. We paid a little extra for a room which overlooked the city and the Acropolis. That was definitely worth the upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful and looked after us really well. We would hesitate to go back there. If you stay you must... More

I was charged for some items in the fridge that I did not use. -Bottles of water had the label complimentary. Be aware, they charge you. -The location is okay, it not a jaw dropping. The rooms are not very big and the furniture is poor quality. -The daily piece of candy is horrible

Good location in a quiet neighborhood with great view of Acropolis and Athens city. Under Lykavitos Hill next to Kolonaki area with a walking distance to center, Syntagma. Nice cafeteria on the top with nice food (a bit expensive) but with a lovely view. Good service, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is a bit overvalued for what it provides (especially the breakfast). The view from the acropolis room is simply one of the bests I have seen in my life and I would go back just for that. Overall a very good experience but a bit pricy.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The views over breakfast from the top floor were amazing. My room was very comfortable and although the hotel is quite central, it was never too loud.

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighborhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
