After reading reviews of the 'bijou' room sizes, I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel!! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the room did have a view of the Acropolis even though it was quite small! The service throughout our stay was good and the food in the restaurant was well cooked and presented.... More

The staff was extremely helpful and gracious. The room was lovely, with the singular exception being that the bathroom could be (re) designed better. There is no way to stop the shower water from flooding into the rest of the bathroom; there are no hooks for towels, the faucet on the sink prevents you from getting your face over the... More

Well, it was fantastic! I mean the place was not something special, but the food and the wine was really exceptional. Best dish was the shrimps with wild rice, safran and lemon sauce, the green salad was good and the pork fillet chops was also very good. I did not taste the dessert but the dessert wine was also very... More

the staff made sure I get the best of Athens, I was advised where to go, how to get there, how to come back, if needed anything, there were there to help me. you must check out the city view from the restaurant , you have access to almost 80% of the city.

Despite the fact that you are within walking distance from down town the hotel is situated almost into the woods! The view is fantastic from the top floor. The personnel is very polite.A renovation must be done I think in order to be a genuine 5 star hotel!

Pro's ++ Modern feel to the room, with fantastic facilities Great staff - Staff helped us book onward travel via greek websites to save us money the restaurant was fantastic, if a little pricey Amazing view of the whole of Athens... although for this amazing view it means the hotel is on a hill, so be prepared for a walk... Your property needs updating to achieve current star rating. Staff was outstanding. Pool was being remodeled. Wanted a space to sit outside to relax and enjoy. Short on towels, and the towls were old.

This is a great hotel with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and the sea. Our room and the restaurant had this view. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast was good. The staff were helpful and in particular Marina, "experience agent", was a real star: helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

The best view in Athens from the restaurant balcony and probably worth it for that alone. Our room faced into the central duct which was full of cables, air-conditioning and a continuous hum. The walls were very thin and something above us, possibly a store room, was a source of odd thumps and scrapes till late at night. Other details... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighborhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
