Good location in a quiet neighborhood with great view of Acropolis and Athens city. Under Lykavitos Hill next to Kolonaki area with a walking distance to center, Syntagma. Nice cafeteria on the top with nice food (a bit expensive) but with a lovely view. Good service, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is a bit overvalued for what it provides (especially the breakfast). The view from the acropolis room is simply one of the bests I have seen in my life and I would go back just for that. Overall a very good experience but a bit pricy.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The views over breakfast from the top floor were amazing. My room was very comfortable and although the hotel is quite central, it was never too loud.

Good location, excellent view, food very good too, but rooms have no isolation - you hear every single step in the building, which makes it a bit difficult to relax sometimes. But all in all it is a good value for money.

We were suggested by some friends to stay at St. George and we were very happy. The hotel is very good and comfortable and the location is also very good. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby and it's easy to reach museums and to be in the fenter of the city

Beautiful hotel, extremely reasonable rates, stunning position, breathtaking views, and fantastic service. Enjoyed the hotel so much so that I have returned for a second time and will certainly stay nowhere else when in Athens.

The 6th floor with roof terrasse and an excellent view of the city and Acropolis. The breakfast is excellent and include some original Greece pastry. The rooms need are large but could need a little refurbishment.

The hotel staff was very responsive to the requests we made. The bed was comfortable and the view great. A warning about the bathroom, however. The glass half screen around the shower was slightly unhinged and water flooded the bathroom floor and even ran into the vestibule when the shower was being used. A rolled towel was not sufficient to... More

I will always stay at St George L. whenever I am in Athens. Wonderful views and in a great area -- v close to all the trendy shops and restaurants. Spectactular setting from our balcony. A lot of history to this hotel.

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighborhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
