Great location. Rooms small but beds are spacious and comfortable. Good service and decent food. Small pool, but adequate. Good value considering our usual choice (Hilton) was $200 more per night. Much better choice for the money and one of the better choices in Athens

Great concierge service provided by Mariana and the rest of the staff were also awesome. Nice balcony with terrific views of the Acropolis and easily walkable (10 mins or so). Would highly recommend the restaurant F + W (Food and Wine - 5 min walk.) Probably the best meal on our two week trip through Europe with gorgeous outdoor dining... More

The hotel is very well located, with a great view from the terrace on the city. The staff is professional and friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is of especially good quality and enjoyable with the view.

A good hotel with great views and excellent views in a quiet area. I was given a room that was too close to the lift and there was a lot of noise. The staff of the hotel is helpful and simpathetic. I will return to the hotel but ask for a room far from the lift.

This hotel claims to be five stars. It does not deserve this ranking. I have had more pleasurable stays at $120 a night hotels in New Jersey. The service is poor. They have, at one point or another, mistaken my towel for the hotel's and taken it, forgotten to replenish toilet paper and trash can liners in the bathroom (this... More

A nice hotel, little bit shabby in places with odd staircase arrangements but staff were very friendly and the views are fantastic. Breakfast is also excellent. I would definitely recommend this as a location as it is so simple to get into the centre whilst you can also reach the top of Lycabettus Hill with ease. Be aware, the rooftop... More

We didn't stay in this hotel but went for a drink in the fifth floor bar to enjoy the wonderful views of Athens and the Acropolis. The staff were very friendly - happy to take photos of us in the bar - and the drinks were reasonably priced. A good place to enjoy an early evening drink.

8 of us recently stayed at the SGL hotel while in Athens for two nights. Our stay is best described as very comfortable. The hotel is nice, the staff and management very accommodating. Our shower was horrid (very small and uncomfortable) but otherwise we were very happy. Meals are good, not great with the exception of breakfast, which was excellent.... More

I'm having a very hard time writing about this hotel.... My husband and I recently stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon the second week of June. The common areas were very nice, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room....not so nice. We had just left 4 nights in Santorini and 5 nights in Mykonos so... More

I stayeBrakfast at this hotel just for the night. I have sent in advance my luggage because I had tight connections to arrive in Athens. Indeed with a delay at the first flight I had to be rerouted and arrived at the hotel by 02:00 AM. Everything was working at the check-in and we felt welcomed as if we arrived... More
