On the recommendation of our local partner and after reviewing other options, we selected this hotel for a conference attended by 40 delegates. Compared to similar events held in the Carribean and Morrocco we found the conference support staff much more professional and responsive to our every need. Mrs Gouliamou from the hotel management in particular was outstanding in her... more

The room was okay, nothing special, the 5-star rating is not accurate. My husband and i had to share the one bathrobe; the room was not serviced at all one day, no coffee in the room, no papers, turndown service with chocolates the first night only. I was excited to see the great workout room on their website, but disappointed... more

Its a nice hotel, not 5* IMO. Very expensive, even for a business traveller. Location is a little bit too far out from the City centre for my liking, as it took a good 30-40mins each way in a cab and costs abt €25 e.w too! Cab from the hotel was €25 coming out, and €40!! going back (go figure...).... more

Nice 5 stars-but 4 wd be more appropriate-on the beach but close to glamourous Glyfada and the city.Staff is very kind, food pretty good and the spa is a must but too expensive.Nice rooms,on the small size. more

This is first and foremost a summer hotel. It has two swimming pools and is right next door to some (fairly skanky-looking) beaches, far down the coast of what used to be known as 'the Athenian Riviera'. None of which is much use in March, when the Divani Apollo has a slightly forlorn, redundant air about it. The hotel went... more

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in February participating in my company's meeting. The hotel is located in a lovely location outside Athens and offers complimentary transportation to the centre. Rooms were clean and warm and mine had a lovely view to the sea and the swimming pool. I used the restaurants as part of the group so... more

This hotel in 2006 received a 5-star AAA rating. I am not exactly sure how and it clearly has gone down hill. First, this is an all smoking hotel. Lobby, halls, restaurants, rooms, etc. There are no non-smoking floors. I was first assigned a smoking room (with a lovely view) on the second floor. I requested and was promptly accommodated... more

Excellent stay. Hotel is exquisitely furnished and ultra-clean. Food and service are plentiful and excellent. Views are to die for. Rooms are small but well-appointed; besides, the other things (like the terrace with the great view and the complimentary turn-down and knosh supplies) more than make up for the size of the room. Very highly recommended for your stay in... more

This is a great hotel for people who go to Athens on business and need a lot of conference rooms. What to expect: The hotel is spacious (and so are the guest rooms). The conference rooms are big, well-equiped and the service is great. There are a lot of business people here (I guess almost 90%), so there's that typical... more

As we couldnt land in zante we were diverted to athens and stayed at this hotel which was oraganised by monarch. First impressions were very good. Considering the large numbers of people checking in the reception staff were very quick. Rooms were amazing standard. They even put on dinner especially for us which was a very good standard. Hotel looked... more
