We went to this campsite for a night and it was perfect ! As soon as we arrived, the staff talked to us in french (coming from Marseille) and gave us all the documentation necessary in our language (very usefull when everything is written in Greek !). The access to the town is very easy, bus to the center just... More

This is a city campsite on a busy road so bring some earplugs. It is also fairly expensive at 30 euro a night. Facilities are ok although showers soak anything within a 6 foot radius. Staff couldn't be more helpful, they were great. Athens is a bus and metro ride away which takes about 30 mins and is easier than... More

The downside to this site is well documented - it is off a busy main road and there is significant road noise. I would also add that it was the most expensive campsite we stayed at in Greece by some way. However the site is extremely well run and secure with a guarded gate. The staff were very friendly and... We camped here for 2 nights in early September. The staff were extremely helpful, on check in we were given a pamphlet about the bus and train and she highlighted what we needed to know. She then gave us a map highlighting where the campsite is, train station and route the bus would take us to the train. She then... More

My husband and I camp everywhere we travel...and this site is great for being so close to the city. Although it does take about 45 mins to get into the city between bus and train..We loved it because it was quiet so you got out of the hussel and bussel of the city and the camp site is very well... For a city campsite, Camping Athens is very convenient with good transport links to the city, high levels of cleanliness and very helpful staff. However, it is situated next to a three lane motorway which makes it incredibly noisy and difficult to sleep. My advice is, perfect for budget accommodation but pack the ear plugs!

This is a good equiped camping with free wi-fi connection (ask for a password in reception), in reception you will get a free map of Athens and "manual" how to get to the town with the bus and metro. Tickets for the bus you can buy in camping shop, one ticket is for 90min I think, and it takes 20... More
