Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially Elias. Good value for money as the hotel is reasonably priced, clean, newly refurbished and close to the metro/to the center of Athens. The highest rating goes to customer service. Thank you Elias for making this stay a pleasant one for a weary traveler from London!

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, great location (5mins walk from Omonia station), what else can anyone ask for at their price? It's totally value for money and restaurants nearby are cheaper than those in other areas like Plaka.

I stayed here for a night after finishing a greek island tour before leaving the country. The hotel was very modern and well presented. The receptionist spoke good english and even booked a taxi for me to the airport the next morning at 5:30am. Hotel was easy to find and located right near the main shopping square. Would stay there... More

We book for a luxury room, and you can put away the word "luxury" 'cause was just a small room in the center ( 10 minutes walk) of Athens. Ominia subway its about 2 minutes from the hotel and Monasteraky its about 10 minutes walk. Localization its good but the Ominia square, much better don't walk alone at night its... More

The location of the hotel is ideal for a short trip to Athens, if you are looking to visit the Acropolis and a bit of walking around. The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained and the concierge/front desk is very helpful. Not my favourite location in stay in Athens, but in this locality, it is one of the best... More

My sister and I stayed here for two days while in Athens. The hotel staff was very nice to us. Locals mentioned that the hotel was in a bad neighborhood but we didn't have any issues. The hotel was clean. It had no wash cloths but I soon learned that this was standard for all hotels here. The breakfast was... More

Great boutique hotel! A ten minute walk to the historic sites and Plaka neighborhood, this clean hotel with great prices is perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful going out of their way to recover our cell phone from a taxi agency after we left it behind. Breakfast was good and rooms are well kept and very minimal.

This hotel is in my opinion not a 4 star hotel. Our room had two single... the really old single beds in it. NO kettle to make tea or coffee. Also we did not have a safe to lock our personal belongings in,. Our room had a balcony right onto one of the small side streets. Not a nice looking... More

Hotel is ok. Reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. Breakfast is a buffet but it is a low quality so dont expect much eventhough the choice of products is huge. Stuff was nice. Area of the hotel seems to be really dangerous but it is quite ok despite the spooky feeling you get on the first time.... More

This hotel is walking distance to all the major touristic sites in Athens, including the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Mount Lycabettus, The archeological museum, etc. A 10 minutes taxi ride from Gazi (nightlife), 20 minutes taxi ride to Mikrolimano for great seafood and bars at the pier (see my Zorbas' review) and a 20 minutes ride from the main... Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
