I chose this supposed four star hotel because of its location. It is definitely NOT a four star (actually it would be lucky to be TWO) and it's on a very busy road (although from the back of the hotel you can't hear it) but worst of all is the area which I discovered before the end of our stay,... Stayed here for a few nights in Athens- it's a short walk from the Omonoia metro station, so it's easy to get there from the airport. Location is very good- it's about a 15 minute walk to Monastiraki square which is tourist central in Athens. The staff at the hotel was super nice, especially Fanai- a really sweet girl who... More

We stayed 7 nights at the Chic Hotel. The area is not that glamorous, but it's really at a walking distance from all the usual places one wants to visit in Athens. I was a bit afraid before we came there because I heard that Omonia Square (the closest metro station, 100 meters from the hotel) is not a place... More

We stayed here recently on a city break and this hotel was very central, clean, safe and terrific value for money. Rooms were small and breakfast was basic but that was reflected in the price. It is very close to a metro and 10 mins walk from the main squares. Reception staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely stay here... More

The review is based on a one night stay... The hotel is around 30 minutes by taxi from the airport, it is easily accessible and the taxi cost us 40euros between 4 persons (during the day as at night it cost us 55 euros). The hotel is very clean and kept well. The receptionist was very helpful, he even helped... More

I was very pleased with the location and find it easy to go to the Omonia metro station. Not the most beautiful location or square, but the room was functional, nice, clean and worth the money. The hotel is not over priced or under priced. The breakfast is plentiful but average. I spent three nights in July of 2014 (... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights recently at Chic hotel. It is small, modern and comfortable. During the day there is plenty of life about but at night we felt that walking anywhere was a bit daunting. The hotel is described as bing in the area of Psirri (which is lovely) but nightlife of Psirri is about half a... More

My husband and I spent three nights here on our honeymoon in July of 2011, during one of the weeks of the taxi strikes. We were nervous about this when we first arrived after the privately arranged airport shuttle driver reacted so strongly when we told him where we were staying. He told us about the location and its "dangerous"... More

Chic Hotel, located very near Omonia Square and metro station in Central Athens serves as a comfortable base for tourists and business people. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are small but adequately furnished with comfortable beds, adequate storage space for clothing, a mini-bar, table/desk with two chairs and a well appointed shower. Wi-Fi functions well in... We left the cruise ship Riviera after a lovely not to be forgotten cruise around the Greek Islands. We had a 9 AM check in ,met by a lovely pleasant helpful girl we were at breakfast in minutes and in our room soon afterwards. The room was very clean but basic. The comfort was excellent ,the bed was really comfortable... More
