We visited the Ilion Hotel in September 2009 and had a lovely two week holiday. The hotel was spotless and our room was well equiped despite being a little dated. We stayed on a half board basis and the food could not be faulted in any way. Considering it is produced on a mass production basis, the choice was extensive and of a very high standard. The views from the pool are stunning and is a very relaxing place to sun yourself. The only slight downside is that it takes a good 20 minutes to walk into Elounda, however a taxi is only 7 euro. Elounda is a nice town with lots of restaurants on the sea front. more
