Stayed at the Phanyro for almost a week while in Sen Monorom and was very impressed. Phanyro is a collection of small cottages/bungalows setup in a large U formation. Each bungalow is very large. The rooms have a large in room bathroom, a TV that gets many channels, a large bed, nightstand, small cabinet and a strong fan. The place... More

The guesthouse is located behind the main road where the Sorya Bus station is located . It is a 10 minutes walk on well maintained mud path e chalet style rooms are set in a garden compound with many types of fruit tress like avocado and banana trees. The rooms are clean and well look after by friendly staff. it... More

I arrived here after I injured my knee badly, the place seemed clean and is recommended in the lonely planet, the first night was right except that there wasn't any internet, next day I asked the owner if I could change rooms, which he agreed and I did, the room was already clean, I spend almost half day here, because... Stayed for a couple nights and thought it was fantastic value at $8. Good sized room, clean, comfy bed etc. Only downside was lack of info for things to do or anything about check out etc as the staff I met had limited English. Would stay again

We stayed for 2 nights in Phanyro Guesthouse, which is located about 8min walking from town center. Bungalow was spacious and clean, but a bit worn. There was not a lot going on at the guesthouse, so it was quiet, but it was lacking a bit atmosphere. Owners/staff didn't speak much, but was nice enough! All in all we had... More

Really good guesthouse for a fair price! For 8$ per night we stayed in a small hard build house ( one room- one house). The room had a bathroom, a TV, a fan, a comfy bed and mosquito nets on the windows. We stayed in there in december where the temperatures are very low so we where happy to have... More

I showed up, got a clean room and a whole papaya. In such a place, that knows ways more about war than tourism I do not expect anything more. The staff was friendly and provided me with the information I asked for. I even got a drawn map with all sites in and around the city. Rent a real bike... More

The rooms are ok, but the staff does not speak ANY english (not even to understand you want to pay for the room!). And we hired a tour un elephant with VISAL, who was the one who showed us the room and payed him alzó for his guide services. The nex day, we went to the the village to get... More

The rooms are super clean and very big. The hotel itself is made up of different bungalows around a central area. It is very peaceful. The staff is very friendly but doesn't speak much English. This was only a problem when we tried to explain that the cleaner had left out door unlooked all day long, which we were not... More

Our stay at Phanyro was decent. For $8 a night it was better than expected. Room was pretty and cosy with timber used throughout. There are a lot of insects in the room, but the same can be said for just about anywhere in town. The staff were nice but came across a little distant. Never rude, but never really... More
