We spent 4 nights here. The room we had was perhaps a little tired and hopefully they will look to update in the near future. The resort itself is also a little dated but wonderful mature gardens extend all the way through the resort. The restaurant facing the sea was good, there is an afternoon happy hour which was also... Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in June with my husband. Had stunning rice barge, that was second in the row from the pool, so location to the pool and beach was fantastic. The barge itself is soo spacious! It has lovely deck area with 2 sun loungers and parasol, great for drying your swim wear overnight. You walk... More

Well a bit of a mixed bag, staff were nice although the reception process was a bit disorganised. The area around reception was a bit strange, large, nothing much happening. The bar in the reception area was particularly disappointing with rarly 2-3 people in there, not worth going in. Besides that the Facilities were fine. Breakfast ok. The hotel is... More

Reasonable prices, great family-friendly beach, very clean, very friendly staff, good food, very good rooms and just outstanding gardens. A bit quiet area though, but more than enough shops, bars and restaurants around in walking distance. Party people are advised to rather go for Cha Weng, which is 10 min by taxi (300-400 Bht, negotiate price in advance!). Certainly, worthwhile... More

We've now returned for the tenth time in 11 years, hence it might be considered a biased review! The gem of this hotel - that has just now had its 25th anniversary ! - is its staff! Many of them have already seen our kids grow up through the years, and the kids (actually all of us) feel like returning... More

We stayed at the Imperial Boat House in Choeng Mon for over 3 weeks. For us it is like our second family, as we have been coming here as a family for nine years. All staff, with no exceptions, are kind and courteous and only to willing to do anything. It is therefore frustrating to see how some other European... More

Imperial boathouse was a nice hotel. We are a family of 4 so we had to get an interconneting room. The bathroom was nice and beds were comfy. The beach was very calm not much life as it was quite empty compared to chaweng which was more lively. However the beach was nice and there were people selling street food... More

Stayed here for part of our honeymoon (8 days) on first impressions its very nice , we were told to bring our marriage certificate as once they could see it we were going to be given an upgrade, we were very excited about this - however at check-in we were told we certainly could have an upgrade ..as long as... We arrived at the Imperial Boat House on 9th August and stayed for 3 nights. Check in was quick and easy and although our rooms wernt quite ready, we were happy to explore and relax by the pool bar for an hour or so until it was. This hotel is quite interesting and unique, the old transformed rice barges are... More

We had a short trip here, but really enjoyed the family vibe and the boathouse theme. It was centrally located, away from Cawheng beach, which we appreciated. Although we prefer staying in huts rather than a resort, this resort did have a great feel
