We were so happy with Sugar Ridge. The people could not have been more accommodating, the views amazing, and the room lovely. Loved being able to go to a different beach each morning. The food and service was wonderful. Will definitely come back to this gorgeous hotel!

We stayed for 7 nights and had a fun time. We liked the layout of the rooms...they felt comfortable. The bed was amazing...so comfortable. No bath but I can live with that. The balconies are large and we used it a lot. We didn't feel the need for the plunge pool. In general, the rooms run 1 to 40 something.... More

I cannot believe some of the negative reviews on here about Sugar Ridge! We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. We deliberately avoided the "one the beach all inclusive" deals and chose this hotel because it was slightly off the beaten track and offered a bed & breakfast option. There are lots of fantastic little restaurants nearby... More

We liked Sugar Ridge a lot and would go back. It offered a lot of the things we were looking for. The setting is probably the foremost reason for staying there. It's a great view from almost every location of both the harbor and undeveloped hilltops. The view from the restaurant Carmichals is spectacular. They also have an infinity pool... More

We stayed for 16 nights. The facilities were fine, modern and at the upper end. The location is convenient but not on a beach and some of the accommodation is probably too close to a busy road for noise. Tje hillside distribution of room blocks made use of thecourtesy buggies essential but this proved inconsistent with lengthy waits sometimes. The... More

This hotel is certainly not a bad place to stay. Reading this review, one may get the impression of a very demanding client, which I am not. With its pricing, this establishment has positionned itself in the highest of brackets, therefor clients should expect the best. Judge for your self. For US $ 750 per night including breakfast, we got... More

My hubby and I stayed here from Boxing Day for 11 nights. The hotel was as described away from the beach and all the suites set on a hill. You do need some fitness if you intend on walking to your rooms. You can of course as for a lift in a golf cart. The staff here are awesome- so... More

I am amazed as I read the reviews on Trip Advisor for this place. This was quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I travel a lot, 3 to 4 hotels a month. When we arrived the staff could not locate our reservation which we had paid for in full over a month prior to travelling.... More

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are lovely and clean. Be aware that the hotel is close to the main road and there is traffic noise which may disturb your sleep. Don't be surprised if there is the odd tiny lizard or frog in your room, as they are prevalent outside the room. You may also experience 'critter' noise at... More

We stayed her for 8 days and it was pretty awful. Our room was front facing as all rooms are and it was extremely close to the road. You can't tell from pictures Food - The Sugar Club is horrendous w extremely horrible service. Breakfast is included, but it's a buffet and flies all over the place. Beaches - you... More
