stayed several times before. Oldest dog got v.ill and Patron went to great lengths to find us a vet. Had to stay 5 nights before we could take her home. Amazingly she is still alive so haven't been back because we can't both travel as she is so frail. When we are able to return to France this will be... More

The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, very acceptable for an overnight stay. Parking is on-street (but we've never had any problems with leaving luggage in the car overnight here) and is conveniently accessible to the hotel. The restaurant has generally been good - although we did catch the chef on an off-day on one visit!

Basic room, very clean and very comfortable, definitely worth a visit. Stayed for one night on a stop over on way home from the south of France. The host Didier, lovely man and very funny. We dined there in the evening - the meal was out of this world and he makes a real effort to make you feel at home.... More

In a lovely medieval town and surrounding area very picturesque. Owner/Manager could not have been more friendly and helpful. All the staff were the same. Accommodation was great value for the price. The outstanding part was the food - we all felt that the food was fabulous. I said it was as good as any rump steak I had ever... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for the second time in 7 weeks. Once again I received a warm welcome. I was allocated the same room as my previous visit. My room was on the first floor of the annexe block. The room was bright & airy with a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, writing/computer desk & tv. The wash... More

Looking for a hotel for 1 night before a trip to nearby Center Parcs, we booked the 3-star Hotel de Normandie and were pleasantly surprised. Although we got worried upon arrival when we found all the doors locked (it was Easter Monday Bank Holiday!), we brightened up when we got to our room. Basic but clean, large and nicely furnished... We used this hotel as a first night stopover en route to a week in a self-catering gite in Aveyron. We had pre-booked through Logis de France and, as we have inevitably found with the Logis organisation, on arrival our reservation was all in order. First impressions were good; the room was on the small side (the bathroom was almost... More

We stayed at the Hotel Normandie for four nights at the end of February 2011. We were entirely satisfied with the hotel and restaurant and will definately return if in Normandy again. The room was large and extremly clean and comfortable with everything that we wanted. We have no complaints or detrimental comments to make about the hotel whatsoever. A... More

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Charante Maritime. It is a lovely hotel. quaint with quite a bit of renovation going on. The rooms are small but well appointed with very nice bathrooms. It is a bit off the usual route to Calais but worth the detour The restaurant had a very good choice with 2... More
