We stayed in one of the older villas in the summer of 2014. The villas have a great unobstructed view, the quarters are very spacious and is in short distance from the Elafonisi beach a very beautiful beach that we really enjoyed. The road to the beach is very good and there are some restaurants along the way. The kids... More

To clear up any confusion there are several (five I think) villas with private pools and 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and also a house/hotel with individual bedrooms and a shared kitchen and pool. We stayed in Amfitriti which is a studio villa with it's own private pool. This property is only available through Vintage Travel but there is another... More

Very close to Elafonisi Beach and another even better beach that must remain secret until you visit, these villas are organized as units of four bedrooms centered around a common kitchen and lounge space. Each unit has its own pool. We stayed for three days, but many guests appeared to have settled in for considerably longer. There is a central... More

We slept in one of the lower one-room apartments with a beautiful view over the sea. The apartments are close to a very quite small village with one quaint taverna. The Amygdalia Villas itself also served decent, basic food. The apartment had a nice plunge pool, which is great after a day of hiking or visiting one of the beautiful... More

This is a truly fabulous place to stay. It is a family run establishment with a real personal touch. A short drive from Elafonisi beach (you are unlikely to find nicer accommodation nearer to the beach than this). Well-equipped, beautifully decorated villas with pool and sun terraces (some private), comfortable bed, great breakfast and just a great place to kick... More

The journey to Amygdalia Villas is a bit fraught. Of course it's fine on the motorway in Crete. It's a solid, national road. When you break off to go on the coast road it gets a little hairy - it's fine as long as you do it in the daytime, but if you were flying into Crete at night, I'd... More

Dear guest, First of all, I would like to mention that there were no Greek people till your review in Amygdalia villas so it is a little weird that we have received a review from a person in Thessaloniki. On the other hand, if you spent some time in Amygdalia villas and you had such a bad experience we respect... More

Our hostess was very nice and welcoming, as well as accomodating. Clean rooms, great spread at breakfast, delicious food for dinner. Only complaint was that the room was quiet small. Overall was a nice stay!

The Amygdallia Villas is quite easy to find... just follow their signs. The Villas are perched up on a hill ... which gives you stunning views of the ocean... and the sunset from the restaurant that is at the Villa and from the swimming pools and decks of the Villa's We stayed at Amygdalia Villas for 2 nights. My husband and I spent four nights here on our honeymoon and loved every minute. The hotel: The villa was perfect for us! We were able to completely unwind, took walks nearby, and visited the famous Elafonisi beach every afternoon. Thalia and the team running the hotel were warm and friendly, and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner conversations -... More
