My wife and I stayed at the Posada as part of a week of walking in March 2015. The Posada was very nice. Sasha and Craig were excellent hosts. Craig's suggested walks and walk notes were excellent. Very pretty and quiet part of Spain. We stayed at the posada for three nights then Craig had arranged stays at hotels in... More

A lovely house in the streets of a traditional mountain village. A perfect location for walking and the maps and information given were very helpful.Round trips of about 12km to other villages and back for lunch at the local cafe! The room and breakfast were good. It is a family home with all the usual goings on of a family... More

Stayed here for one night while walking through the beautiful Sierra de Aracena for TheUntravelledWorld. The B&B is in a big, old Andalusian townhouse, packed with character (and cats). My room was very spacious and I was served an adequate breakfast. In addition to being a B&B, it's also a busy family home, of course, and there was a lot... More

We visited this guest house in September as part of an organised group, for 2 nights - the old building has been beautifully restored and the hospitality offered by Sasha and Craig is warm and relaxed, so that you feel at home. I can't comment on the value-for-money, because the cost was part of the overall holiday package. We got... More

The Posada del Castano is an artistically refurbished old Andalusian village style house, yet with all the modern facilities you would be looking for. Breakfast is continental, with fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereal, cheese and ham, tasty bread, home-made Seville marmalade and freshly-brewed coffee or tea. The area and the village are superb, with lots of real character and great,... More

Surprisingly comfortable guest house. All rooms en suite and tonnes of hot water. Very cool place run be a cool couple. Sasha knocked us up a lovely dinner and Craig took us round the Sierra de Aracena on mountain bikes. They produce cured ham here, from wild boar which, uniquely, feed on chestnuts. This area may not be for everyboody... More

Craig and Sasha have cornered the hiking market west of Seville with a very comfortable Inn and a great hiking program. They pay great attention to detail to make sure the guests have a real positive adventure every day and safe, clean friendly atmosphere to comeback to. We had a great time socializing with the other guests.
