We stayed for two nights at Welburn Lodge and loved every minute. Stella and Steve are fantastic hosts. Two of the friendliest, most genuine people we have ever met running a B&B. Welburn Lodge looks good. However, it is very close to a main road. The priory room is very nice, looking out over the garden but it has a very musty, damp smell even in the height of summer! Breakfast is very good and close to Castle Howerd More
