Nice staff and the good breakfast cannot make up for this hotel's serious weaknesses. The ambience of our room was not helped by a lack of light: (either natural or electric) and contributed to the overall depressing atmosphere. While the bed was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom (although also far too dull), the accommodation was below '4 star'... More

The hotels is made up of two buildings: an old one in the front and a new, regular hotel building in the back. Very standard hotel features, but the staff was very, very nice and helped us with every request. There are cafes and restaurants very close to the hotel to try out local food.

We pulled up at this hotel on a Sunday afternoon. It was raining and the street looked grim. I wondered what on earth I had done booking here, but it was lovely. Don't be put off. It was a great location, and we were specially grateful for the laundromat just a few doors down. The parking at the hotel was... More

If poor weather then need to use taxis to town as nothing local in immediate area. Bar area of hotel sterile with no atmosphere and breakfast buffet average. Staff helpful and welcoming no problems here.

This hotel is fine, but nothing special. Doesn't warrant the description as a "boutique hotel". We didn't find the location convenient, particularly if the weather is a bit inclement. Public transport proved unreliable (we found ourselves waiting over 1 hour for a bus on Sunday), so overall would recommend choosing a hotel closer to the historic centre.

Loved the modern design of this hotel. Great contrest with a very old city. Bed was firm and king size and the bath and shower were sparkling every day. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from most attractions near the river. We walked everywhere in the city and used the public bus to and from Porto airport for just... More

We pulled up to the hotel late at night via taxi, in the rain, our first thought was “we must be in the wrong place.” But once you walk inside, it is a glorious hotel. Yes, the location is not near a metro, but we were able to easily walk downhill to the river area, sightseeing along the way, and... More

Stayed at this hotel during your trip in Portugal (up to this were at the same network Eurostars des Letres, 5* in Lisbon). Hotel in Porto generally not liked. I would say that 3* he can hardly claim. The room was small and some shabby. The location is also not very good - far from the river, walking 20-25 minutes.... More

I picked this hotel sort of blindly, trusting some reviews I had read, but you really never know what to expect till you see for yourself. We opted to take the metro from the airport and walk. That's not what I'd recommend. It's a long walk on cobblestone streets and pulling luggage like that is annoying. I was concerned when... More
