Canto de Luz is an excellent choice for a weekend in Porto. Located in a cool neighbourhood close to shops, bars and restaurants. Superb decoration and attention by the owners. Excellent and relaxing breakfast with ecologic home made products. it is really worth visiting

This was a great bed and breakfast in the centre of Porto with modern and spacious rooms and a lovely ambience. The hosts were really welcoming and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Portuguese delicacies and the home backed sweets and cakes! A must stay when in Porto!

In August I stayed three days in Canto de Luz. I couldn't have chosen a better place in Porto. The guesthouse is an old construction that has been tastefully modernized, allowing an abundance of light to enter the rooms and staircase. French owner André and his wife, who are very pleasant and helpful, gave me the quiet south bound room... More

I signed up to give my fiirst review because I want others to know about this place! I stayed here for a conference and it was my refuge in the city. The home cooked breakfasts were amazing! Birgitte baked, made yogurt and preserves to wake up for. The house was purposely designed for guests, making it feel a bit like... More

I had a wonderful stay last month at the Canto de Luz. Brigitte and Andre were perfect hosts - welcoming and helpful, with great advice for things to see and do, and restaurants to visit. The accommodation has been tastefully decorated. My room was quiet, peaceful and comfortable, with a great shower and lovely view over the back garden. The... More

Excellent address to hang your hat when discovering Porto for the first or 101 time. The high level renovation of the building and the fantastic hosts really make this the perfect place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

We had the house to ourselves so we were able to spend lots of time with Brigitte and her assistant, Esther. Sadly, we were not able to meet Brigitte’s husband, Andre, as he was traveling during our visit. If you appreciate modern architecture and building restoration, you will be fascinated with what the owners have created out of an old... More

We spent a week at Canto de Luz, enjoying the house, our room, the garden, without forgetting the breakfast ! Brigitte and André made us felt comfortable there, giving us also very good ideas to explore the smart city of Porto. Definitely, the good spot.

This was the most amazing experiences we have had in a bed and breakfast. The townhouse that the couple Anton and Bridget owns is absolutely beautiful. It is modern and simple. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very clean, the views from the street or the garden are amazing. The rooms are cleaned everyday and you feel very... More
