We did not book this hotel but when we arrived at the hotel we had booked, they explained that they had problems with their toilets so had transferred us to their 'sister' hotel the Internacional. The rooms were not large but adequate and as noted in other reviews there was noise from other rooms - obviously no sound proofing. However... More

We had money taken from our room,The Director was informed he told us as we had been drinking the day before(our friends 40th) it would not be good if police were informed as it would make us look bad making us feel uncomfortable, however the rest of the staff were lovely and the hotel is beautiful but extremely noisy of... Nicely located. Near train station, tourist buses, trams, beach, and of course the Port Makers. Very comfortable hotel, accompanied luggage, airport shuttle, pilgrim stamps, lots of cafes and people watching. Very interesting people and unique cars to watch while having passing time at a cafe.

The room was clean, not large but had a pleasant veranda. Walking distance to most city centre attractions. Breakfast was average but the restaurant was very good. The staff was very pleasant and efficient.

I liked this hotel. Obviously the location is number one, but the helpfulness of the staff comes next. The rooms are small, but this is Europe. Clean and safe. The breakfast is not the greatest, but it will do to get you going. Yes, it is noisy, but I'll take an open window over a sealed hotel any day. We... More

Well located, close to metro, most helpful staff, quiet room (as requested), good breakfast and a very reasonable price - what more could one demand of a hotel? Staff extremely helpful when TAP pilots' strike delayed my departure. I would return.

The place is literally like a doghouse. Extremely noisy, we were not able to sleep all night long. The rooms were small, the bed tiny and the staff rude! We changed hotel immediately but they charged us for 3 days stay claiming that this is "according to terms and conditions". Even booking.com tried to contact them for this 3 days... More

Inexpensive and definitely worth to stay, very very nice location( in the centre of porto) and many good resturant around. Very quite place and staff are there so friendly and helpful. Showing us which resturant is good and guide us use the best way to spend a day in porto is more interesting. Especially mention two staff who work during... More

We spent three nights here on our Portugal trip. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful with advise on restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms were adequate and bathrooms nice. Took a bit to figure out the lights and how to work the shower but hey, it's Europe and that is half the fun of travel. Centrally located and fairly priced.
