The location of this hotel is excellent. You can easily walk to the city center as we did every day. There are also few stores, bars and restaurants near by. Free WiFi was good although a bit slow speed and the 24h reception is always a good thing. Breakfast was good in sense that there was everything you expect from... More

Me and my girlfriend spent a night at Malaposta hotel and overall we were quite pleased. Room was nice and clean and everything worked well, just would've liked a nicer receptionist, she was rather cold and robotic and didn't really cared if we were there or not, both checking in and out. However we enjoyed our brief stay.

The hotel doesn't look pretty on the outside, it's the inside which counts. It's recently refurbished and looks modern and clean. Rooms are comfortable, tidy and also very clean! Staff is friendly and helpfull and speak propper english. Breakfast is basic but good, enjoyed it every morning! Location is key, less than 5 minute walk to the center, waterside and... More

I´ve stayed with some friends in this hotel for 6 nights. In the beggining i had some problems to sleep because of the noise of the closest kizomba bar, but the bed is confortable so. The location is perfect, the best places are around 10/15 minutes walking, in less than a day we may see a lot of the best... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during the week and had an undisturbed sleep every night. The room had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The location is good, a 10 minute walk from the main square and the tourist buses. It was a great bonus having free wifi in the room. An unexpected pleasure was having the... More

I spent a week with my mum in Feb. There's air con to keep you warm or cool you off. Free wifi. The staff are friendly and helpfull. It's a laid back place. Rooms are a good size. And no issues with the room or cleaning. It's in a good location. Close to everything. The only problem is when it... More

Very central, with free wi-fi, budget hotel, the A/C smelled very old when working. pay attention on the day you are staying, if you like to sleep, better to chose a higher floor, during the weekends is very noisy

Malaposta is a well positioned hotel: near the center, but far enough from it, letting guests the opportunity to discover a less tourist part of the city. The breakfast is nice and well-stocked. Despite of these good points, in my humble opinion services could be largely improved, specially reception and cleaning. I've been accommodated in a 4th floor room and... More

i was there in may 2013. for 3 days. room was ok, breakfast was poor, but location is wonderful. down the street are two clubs. one is for rock fans, and one is for fancy ppl. little bit for everyone. because that all night people cruising through the street. all in all not bad. once again: location is a key.

Excellent location, perfectly adequate bedroom, okay breakfast (though in a very tight space), very friendly reception staff but for me completely overshadowed by the appalling noise. The hotel appears to sit on top of a nightclub that boomed out till gone 11 on Sunday morning. I have never slept so badly. We had the bad luck to stay during the... More
