We were upgraded. Don't ask why - we didn't... We got a huge comfortable suite, with a scenery toward... a cemetery. It wasn't a common cemetery, but an old one, with interesting memorial monuments. The room had a separate working chamber, which was the only place where the WiFi was working. At the lobby level there was a Japanese restaurant,... More

Very nice hotel, which is only a short walk from the Casa Da Musica Metro stop, meaning that all locations around Porto are very accessible. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and professional. The staff are extremely helpful, and the breakfast is fantastic value at four euros a day. We stayed for a week and had absolutely no problems.

Ideal location to explore Porto and the surrounding area, just off Boavista roundabout with good links to all the main routes. The hotel ticked all the boxes, friendly, clean, decent size rooms and no problem with a late (1pm) checkout. Have to mention I did not try the breakfast, so cannot comment, but enjoyed a couple of local cares for.... More

We stayed at Fenix over the weekend – the location was suitable for us since we had some business to be handled in Boa Vista neighborhood early on Monday. A little bit far from Porto’s main touristic attractions but with good transportation options. Positive: The staff at the reception very friendly and supportive, a good breakfast for 4 Euros, spacious... More

I stayed here with my wife and son in August 2014. We had a club triple room which worked out about £60 per night with breakfast. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok with lovely cakes and bread but overdone bacon and eggs. The metro is close by and there is a shopping centre... More

This hotel is far from the city center and the historic area of Porto. It was 500 metr.far from the Casa Da Musica where there is the Metro Station in a clean area ,two big shopping malls. Our room was clean but without any view on the second floor, free Wi-Fi.The hotel service was average. No stuff helped us with our luggages... More

Old fashioned hotel from the '80, the reception, the lobby, the building is a time tourney to the past, but on the other hand the room and the furniture is modern, while the bathroom is worn and old. The breakfast is O.K., the staff is friendly, the garage is a labyrinth with a lots of columns and columns.... Free WIFI... More

Extremely disappointing, and definitely NOT 4 Star. PROS: Rating 3 stars because price per night wasn't too bad (Less than 80 Euro) I would not stay again though. Breakfast was average, 5 Euro each if you do not purchase ahead of time (4 Euro at check-in) It is worth the price though, especially since nothing else nearby opens until 10am.... More

PLEASE TAKE 2 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME TO READ THIS: Last year in November I stayed with my family in a hotel in Porto for a weekend. We booked two nice rooms on the 10th floor, the so-called “business floor”, because I had to work that weekend and therefore was looking for some peace and quiet. That Saturday morning after... More

Good staff let down by a hotel with mediocre facilities. The restaurant is in the hotel next door, and is ne better than a cafeteria with a very limited menu. The only item worth trying was an omelette (overcooked) with chips (completely cold) There are much better hotels in Porto for the same price.
