This is an old hotel with very basic facilities but it is superbly located right in the centre of Porto. Rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy with traffic noise right through the night. The rooms are quite small and basic but are clean and the showers/plumbing worked fine. Beds are not very comfortable but this is... More

It is an old, fifty years old hotel with a magnific location. The rooms were unacceptable: there was no renovation lately, the walls, the curtains, the bad, the matrasse, everything was old and unacceptable. Such an environment is a punishment for a tourist, there is no feeling of home and comfort. The bathroom was clean, but it smelled a little... More

A lovely two star hotel, with character, a wonderful laundry service and great location until it double billed my credit card. VISA removed one bill but not the other; also cheated on bus shuttle fee.

The hotel is in the centre of Porto, so the position is strategic; nonetheless, the rooms are really small (we didn't have the place for our luggages neither), and on the whole it seems like it's falling to pieces: the wc is made of plastic, the window at a certain point broke. Barely sufficient

I went as part of a stag do and couldn't believe how reasonable the hotel was. For the price you would forgive any issues but we really didn't find any. The rooms has TV, air conditioning, were clean and perfectly adequate for a few nights stay. Straight outside the hotel you are perfectly placed to explore the city but far... More

A small hotel at the heart of Porto. The price is more than fair. We had two rooms ( a double and a triple) and we payed only 70 euros in total including the car parking. The rooms are very simple but very clean and the girls at the reception were very kind and helpful. The location and the price... More

Great location right on the main strip, which is quiet at nighttime so no problems sleeping. However there were three of us in a small room, three single beds literally side by side. It was very cozy (too cozy if you ask me). Staff were fine and spoke decent English. They provided towels which was a bonus.

O pior hotel de esta cidade a esse preço. This is my second time in Porto, but this last experience was disappointing. The guy at the reception was really rude and pissed off. The internet connection almost inexistent, and no help to solve the problem somehow. Apparently the breakfast was not included (only for certain type of clients) and a... More

We caught the metro to Aliados from the airport, came up out of the station and there was Hotel Paulista in front of us .A very small lift takes you up to the reception where we greeted by Claudia who speaks very good English. The room was just redecorated and very comfortable, ours was overlooking the square, it maybe noisy... More
