The hotel is very centrally located (although it can get noisy when there is an event on the square) in a beautiful building. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious, but the bathroom was tiny and smelled slightly of sewage. The windows on that floor are very high so you don't see much other than a bit of sky.... More

Breakfast is spartan, but that is common for Portugal. Lots of street noise, and the double wooden shutters don't really help. We stayed one night and very impressed with the location, the nearby restaurant on ground floor, wonderful staff. The room looked out on the square, just as requested. The double set of windows filtered any possible noise (there was no noise) and the bathroom shower was wonderful. We have paid twice as much in Paris and not even come close... More

Located in the centre of old Porto's heritage area and just a short walk from the river and the port wine lodges. Very helpful and friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast. Rooms are a little on the small side, but well appointed. The associated restuarant on the ground floor is well worth a visit.

I stayed here for four nights. The location is excellent. Metro, local and tour busses right outside the front door. Easy to get to from the airport and most of the attractions within a few minutes' walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate and very comfortable and clean.
