We occupied the top floor room at Oporto House for one night. The space is situated in the roof of the building, has a slanted ceiling (careful not to bump your head) and is divided into a large bedroom part and a bathroom part on the other side across a (private) hallway. We had a good night's rest and found... More

We stayed 2 nights in this guest house. It was a small room with small bathroom but very clean which was more important for us than the size of the room. We left in the morning and came back before midnight, walking all day long so room size was not a major issue. But if you are planning to stay... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed in Oporto House for, unfortunately, only one night... And we have to admit that it was Like staying in an house. They gave us a lovely huge room with 2 double beed and even a living room. Clean, warm, EXCELLENT staff, actually we also lost 70€ and they gave it back to us.

We stayed 3 nights on the Guest House. I was the one responsible to book the hotel and choose the room and everything since I'm working in the same business. The location is super central and the room was clean. But those are the only positive points of our experience. I've specifically asked for a room with city view and... More

Easy location to everything. Nice service from hotel staff. Wifi not accessible all through the building but fine in reception which is a comfortable lounge style room. Old style room lock is a bit worrying if travelling alone, however as I was with a group that took most of the rooms so it was safe to me, and there was... More

We stayed at Porto house for three nights. It is easy to find from the metro station and is located in a quiet street. Our room was nice and homely although a little small. We had a shared bathroom which was on the next floor up and a fan in the room (thank goodness). The breakfast was lovely and served... More

You shouldn't be daunted upon your arrival outside this hotel. The street is narrow and the buildings are "warehouse" like. Once inside you will get a nice surprise. The hotel is clean, modern, bright and cheerful. All the reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Wifi worked well in the reception area. Our room was clean and spacious... More

I really wanted to like this place more. Super cute rooms with lovely exposed stone feature wall, colorful furnishings and two large beds in our twin room. Even without aircon the rooms were a perfect temperature with the provided fan. The location is fantastic and an easy walk to all the sights. Three things that let this place down for... More

The room was great; the bed was quite comfortable with great pillows. There wasn't a/c but there was a fan provided that was used as the room was quite warm. Our room was Room 6 and overlooked the road, with the fan running we didn't hear the music/people from the bars nearby. There was no safe or tv in the... More

It was a first guesthouse experience in my life , usually i never stay at inns , hostels , guesthouses and etc. . But its perfectly situated , just beside the Bento station , runned by warm and welcoming ladies - thanks for all the advices about places to visit :-). Room 4A was quite modern , but extremally small... More
