I stayed for three nights in August 2014. Overall, the Wine Hostel was a solid place to say. The location is excellent, the hostel itself is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful with decent English. The only thing to note is that it is located directly above a row of bars that are extremely popular with... More

I spent 2 nights in Porto, both of them in this hostel, and was really satisfied with it. It was my first stay in a hostel, but some of the ones I tried later on were definitely not as good. The hostel is really clean and well decorated, with modern furniture but original elements like empty bottles of porto all... More

We stayed in the wine hostel for 5 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful, helping us to go to some cheap restaurants and what parts of Porto we had to visit. All common area's were really clean, and of course the port wine was excellent! The common room was a great place to meet new people, with free... More

I stayed here for four nights and I have to say: It was definitely too short. An exceptional city and an exceptional hostel. Beautiful rooms, attractive location and the portwine-tastings are great. Everything is very clean, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is good. All in all a relaxing and charming place. I will come back.

(special prices during happy hour!) The room was tiny but so was the price. The hostel is located in a very attractive neighboorhood with cafés and restaurants... More

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights, it was very nice and the atmosphere was very welcoming! The receptionists are very helpful. The only con is that breakfast and towels aren't free. I'd recommend this hostel :) the room is very nice and beds are comfortable. There's also a room where people can meet each other.

We shortly stayed with friend for a couple rainy days in this hostel. Didn´t expect much as we booked just a cheep bed in Porto, but actually were quite surprised how nice it was, cozy tidy room (we stayed in 8 bed dorm), great location, beautiful old house adds as well some unique vibes to this place. Specially thanks to... More

Stayed in dorm for one night and that was perfect: clean, nicely furnitured, comfortable beds, very good breakfast, spacious common room, very friendly and relaxed staff and perfectly situated in the centre. The only reason why I don't give 5 points is that shower and toilette facilities are rather spare so if all people in the dorm get up late... More
