Spending 4 nights in Portugal i never thought would be so cheap, The Best western Inca in Portugal was coming up with ok reviews and at £43 a night WITH breakfast i thought it was to good to be true. We booked it through expedia who seem to be the best for price. We booked a double room for 4... more

The Inca sits in a small square in the Northern half of Porto. It's around 10mins walk from Trinidad Metro station, from where you can reach all points of the City, including the Airport (takes around 35min). Arriving by train, it's best to take a taxi, athough it costs a bit as many roads are one-way, making it somewhat labourious... more

Best Western Hotel Inca is close to Trindade metro station, which is really handy and it is a short walk to downtown Porto. It's quiet and tidy, which is great, especially when on business. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, handing out free maps and giving directions. They let me check in hours ahead, as I arrived... more

This is an older hotel that fits the old fashioned and slightly run down appearance of Porto itself. The hotel is spotlessly kept and the staff speak many languages and go the extra mile to ensure a nice stay. It is situated uphill from the Ribera river area and the Trindade metro station in a quiet square next to the... more

Good points: Rooms are clean and decently-sized (but somewhat fusty - this is clearly an older hotel that has not been remodeled - that being said, though, they do a very good job of keeping it clean and well-maintained). Front-desk staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is large and fresh - definitely recommended. Within about 10-15 minutes walking distance... more

We had originally booked to stay at the Hotel Grande De Paris and on arriving there were told there was a "problem" with the water in our rooms. Very strange, as this happened to us on a trip to Krakow also! The reception called and paid for a taxi to transfer us to Hotel Inca which he said was a... more

If you're just looking for a place to sleep and expect good service from front-desk, that's the place! Don't expect a new building though. I went to Porto for a day, with my train scheduled for 6am next day. That said, I just needed a place to rest until the departure time. For this proposal, this hotel was just perfect.... more

Although very clean and functional, this was not a 4 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English but the faciltiies at the hotel were extremely limited. We were in Porto for 4 days, during which time it poured with rain. The Inca is situated up a very steep hill and this combined with the weather made... more

We were transferred to the Hotel Inca due to problems at the Hotel Grande De Paris. Our room was comfortable, the bed exceptionally so, and very clean. The room had a minibar and satellite television. The in-room safe needed a key from reception which cost 1.5 euros a day. A 10 euro refundable deposit was also charged. The price of... more
